Yay, this is the first of my Naruto couple paring drabbles. This one is a song fic for the Song I Should Tell You from RENT. It's GaaHina, and very fluffy, and probably OOC, so bare with me. Love Yah!!!

Gaara held Hinata's hand, and squeezed it tightly. Of course he loved her, and so, telling her he's Shukaku's vessel was only right. But he was sacred. What if she stopped loving him, he took a breath.

"Hinata-Chan?" She looked up at him with a shy blush.

"Y…yes, Gaara-kun?" Gaara took another breath, and stroked her cheek as gently as he could.

"I…I'm the vessel of the Shukaku, a sand incarnation, and a demon…I just needed to tell you." And with great hesitation, he told her everything about it.

I should tell you, I'm disaster

I forgot how to begin it

Hinata smiled gently. Gaara was so honest with her, even about something that would normally drive one away, but not Hinata Huga.

Let's just make this part go faster,

She hugged him, and Gaara hid his blush as he returned it.

"Y…you r…remember w…when you w…were assigned as m…my body g…guard? Ummm…a…and we were c…caught in a s…storm…I kept making excuses s…so you wouldn't l…leave me alone." She admitted.

I should tell I blew the candle out

Gaara fought back a smile and a laugh.

"I figured as much."

I'd forgotten how to smile until

Your candle burned my skin

Gaara thought back to that night. All the power in the Hyuga household was out, and Hinata tried everything to get him to stay with her; continuously blowing out candles, saying she wanted to talk although she had no subjects, and even clinging to him.

That night was the first night he had smiled in six years; since Yashamaru died, and tried to take Gaara with him.

"Gaara-Kun?"

"Y…your t…thinking about something…w…what is it?" He didn't want to say how only she could make him smile. His eyes said it, and Hinata hugged him again.

Hinata taught him to love, after Yashamaru made him forget, and he was teaching her to be more open, fair trade, right?

Unconsciously, Gaara's lips found hers. He ran his fingers through her hair, and pulled her close. She responded with a small gasp, and she closed her eyes. Warmth spread through Gaara's body, it was unfamiliar, but it felt good.

Trusting desire-starting to learn

Walking through fire without a burn

Clinging-a shoulder a leap begins

Stinging and older, asleep on pins

So here we go now we

The kiss was broken, and Hinata blushed a deep red as she leaned into his chest. Gaara's warmth made her feel safe.

"Y…yes, Gaara-Kun?" He stroked her head gently.

"I love you."

"Gaara-Kun… I love you too…"
