I sit by myself in my bedroom staring out at the new District 12 you wouldn't be able to that only a few months ago the only thing here was the remains of a poor starving district. But now after months of fighting we the people of District 12 can now live peacefully now that the rose has wiltered and died but not before leaving a country scared by the memories.

I stay sat where I am until I hear someone coming in I already know who it is just by hearing the heavy footsteps as the climb up the stairway. He doesn't say anything as he comes in and I don't bother to turn around and look at him. Since I saw him putting primroses it feels as if all the energy I once had had been drained from my body I have no idea what I look like but by judging the caution steps he's now taking I'm guessing I look like an animal. "Katniss I know your still grieving and I understand that but you need to get out of here every now and then" he sits on the bed beside me and debates on whether he should put his arm around me but decides not to of course he would he thinks he might have one of his hijacked memories and try to kill me. "I have been out I went to the forest a few weeks ago before you placed the…" I stop I can't even say the name of the flowers and Peeta seems to notice this and finishes my sentence "primroses outside your house…I'm sorry Katniss if I had known you would of ended up like this then I wouldn't of done it but I thought well we need to remember her Katniss I know you don't want to but she will always be with you and if she saw the state you were in now well she wouldn't be impressed would she" He gets up and walks towards the wardrobe I know what he's going to get and I'm right he walks back and gives me my father's hunting jacket. "Come on" he says "I've never seen beyond the fence"

We made our way across the town and making are way towards the meadow and through the fence. I took one of my arrows out in case any animals came out so I would be prepared. I looked at Peeta and saw that he was staring at me "you look more like yourself now that you're here" he smiled at me and I smiled back and for once it wasn't a forced smile it was real. We made are through until I saw a rabbit who was just sat there unaware of our presence I quietly aimed my arrow at the rabbit and then shot it straight in the back. I turned to Peeta who looked shocked but when he saw I was looking at him he smiled and nodded in approval even though I knew he didn't like what I had just done. I placed the rabbit in my sack and then in silence we walked out of the forest and into the meadow. "Katniss wait can we just sit here for a bit I want to ask you something" he says his blue eyes looking straight into mine. "Okay" I say as I start sitting down "so what do you want to ask me" "Well when I asked you if you loved me and you said real I just wanted to know did you really mean it" I don't even need to think about it of course I meant it why would he even think that. "Of course I meant it Peeta I love you and I don't know what I would do without you" he smiles at me and brings me closer to him and whispers in my ear "That's good cause get what…I love you too"
