The sun was beginning to set sending the city into twilight. Kate leaded her forehead to the cool window pane. She was feeling better but her head still felt as if she were hit by a armored truck. She turned her head to the sound of Helen's voice. "Glad to see your up and about." Kate was still shock that Magnus seem to be the only one talking to her. The others what was it she just said? Oh yea bruised pride and all.
"So what are you doing up here?" Helen settle herself across from Kate. "Thinking of all the places the suit could take you?" "No I'm just happy to be home." Kate smiled at Helen a little shocked she'd got mushy. Helen glanced out at the darken sky. She sighed then put a hand on Kate's. "You were wrong."
Kate rolled her eyes she knew it was to good to be true. Here comes the lecture. "I know I did some crazy stuff while wearing the suit but I wasn't really in my right mind and…" A squeeze of her hand and a slight chuckle from Magnus Stopped her rant. "Kate I was talking about your wager with Henry." "Oh" She was relived till she remember the terms of the bet. "Aw hell" She put her head in her hands.
"Great not only do I have to apologize for what I did while being suit up I also have to pay up. Damn my luck sucks" "Well not entirely." Kate looked at Helen questioningly. Magnus tilted her head with a smirk that sent a strange tingle down Kate spine. Leaning in the good doctor whisper in Kate's ear "my lips are sealed." and with a peck on Kate's slightly opened lips she was gone. Kate sat there perfectly still and for the first time sense the suit incident absolutely nothing was going through her head well almost nothing. A grin spread across her face as she leaded back and hummed a tune she didn't even know but she liked it.
