Goodbye funny how thats such a hard thing to say

Meiling stood in the airport all alone accompanied only by a cold feeling. She choked back tears. She couldnt even cry in
front of friends so crying infront of strangers was completely out of the question. She covered her face in her hands
"crying already" an annoyed voice asked behind her. She looked up at Syoaran her ruby eyes full of sorrow
"why are you here?" she asked in an unforgiving foice "shouldnt you be somewhere with Sakura after all she is the
one you love right?" She spat venomously
"I didn't come here for your jealousy I came here to see you on your way" he said stollidly. Meiling stood up facing
him bravely
"you didn't have to" she said angrily "I didn't even want to see you"

Now its time to let go but never thought i'd feel this way
Promised not to be sad but we both knew I was lyin

"Meiling.." he began his voice trailing off but he knew there were no words he could think of to ease the pain he had
caused her. He almost wanted to walk away without a single word but he promised himself he would see her off it was the least
he could do for her.
"Flight 21 to Hong Kong" a voice chanted over the system
"thats me" Meiling told him then broke down crying "why did you choose her?" she asked spasticly "what did I do
wrong?"
"nothing" he said almost in a whisper
"damn right nothing" she cried "all I did was wait for you to want me, to need me, ...to even notice me and you justcould'nt do either one"
"im sorry" was all he could say to her

Tried to fight back the tears cause I cant let you see me crying
Your more than just my best friend

"you don't love me at all do you?" she asked

"no" he said truthfully "not in the way you want me to but in another way I do"
"in what way" she asked innocently
"in a way that youwouldn't want me to love you" She turned away to walk to her flight before she was stranded with him
longer than she could stand. He walked after her and grabbed her hand.
"im sorry" he said again "theres nothing more I can do for you" he whispered "but I will always stay by your side.

What make me misty most of all in our final curtain call
Is knowing that I wont see you again
