Visions of Love
I will run across the ocean,
I will sail across time.
Until I find you in my arms,
Until you are mine.
--
Misery found in memories,
I could not remember to forget.
Sighing in the darkness,
Alone; filled with regret.
--
Daylight shined with a burning fire,
Already burning, hoping it could hold its ire.
--
Diamonds glittering in the boisterous sun.
Descisions made.
I am on the run.
--
Waiting, waiting, waiting,
As time slowly ticked by,
Waiting, waiting, waiting,
Wishing that these eyes could cry.
--
Filled with excitement.
Filled with dread.
Knowing that descisions,
Could easily mend.
--
His eyes shining out to me,
Heart aching,
I reached out for his soul,
Knowing this lifestyle had finally taken its toll.
--
We talked and laughed,
He felt my sincerity,
Showing him the truth in all its clarity.
Gold instead of red,
A new lifestyle to be had.
A family built on love,
Instead of one controlled by what venom said,
Of spiraling instincts that mislead,
--
He trusted me, loved me,
More then I had hoped,
That night in the asylum when I first glimpsed his face,
Trumpets blaring, War songs uncaring.
Knowing without him I could never cope.
--
Years of waiting had slowly passed,
The day had come,
We can finally be one at last.

Notes: This is a poem in Alice's point of view about her beginnings of her vampire life as well as finding Jasper.
