Why are you here?

I told you not to come.

I thought I've made it clear:

everything between us has been said and done.

No, be quiet,

no, don't look at me like that!

Why can't you see?

This thing just wasn't meant to be.

You know our history

– no, let me talk –

you know there hasn't been much glory,

it wasn't easy road to walk.

With a past like one we share

there isn't much to cherish there.

And thus

there's no happy ending,

not for us.

No, I tell you, take your lips away!

Stop caressing me,

we both know you shouldn't stay.

You've made me everything but free,

I need your love,

but you have hidden it from me.

Is this your game?

I've seen you playing it before.

Was it all you wanted,

to make me fall?

I've shut you out up to this day,

and I've done it fairly well.

That's something you won't take away,

don't drag me back to our hell!

why can't I resist,

when you persist?

You whisper nothings in my ear,

you touch my hand,

you call me dear.

I beg you,

please,

you have to go!

But you just smile at me,

you kiss my hand,

and with your blue eyes tell me,

'No'.

I'm torn apart,

I'm fully lost.

You are far too far,

You won.

You kiss me, you make love to me,

and I keep hoping this will be the night
