Alright so this idea came about from taking pictures on Brawl. And I think everyone is use to me having "different" pairings and so this one shot is a LucarioxZelda one shot. But there is a surprise ending at the end of match. So here you go and I hope you enjoy the one shot.

Secret Protector

There was an instant battle going on between Lucario, Ganondorf, and Zelda on the Temple stage. And when Zelda missed hitting him a Din's Fire she noticed Ganondorf getting ready to hit her with his Warlock Punch. She closed her eyes not wanting to see him send her flying, but out of no where she someone shout, "Watch the power of Aura!" She reopened her eyes to see that Ganondorf was hit by Lucario's Final Smash and she also noticed that the beam was very close to her. But Lucario did seem to move the beam to hit Zelda as well, which did catch her a bit off guard as she saw the evil king being KOed by the final beam of attack which left Lucario and Zelda as the final two.

Lucario then ran right at Zelda as he grabbed her and she thought for sure that this was her so to speak. However, Lucario let her go and back away a bit which confused Zelda a bit more now. She quickly grabbed him and was about to throw him off the edge behind her. But she couldn't pull herself to do it since he did save her from being KOed by Ganondorf and so she let go as well. Then out of nowhere Lucario jumped off the stage leaving Zelda alone for while until she reappeared back at the mansion.

Luckily no one was inside the grand hall when she returned though when she looked to the right of her she saw Lucario standing there with a smile on his face as he said, "Congratulations Princess on winning the match."

"But I didn't win you saved me and then jumped off the stage why?" Zelda asked, as she walked towards him.

"Because I felt that it was the right thing to do was to protect you from him and I jumped off the stage because I knew that I didn't want to harm you." Lucario stated.

Zelda lightly gasped as she did notice that Lucario hadn't attacked her at all during the match and if he did he would stare at her for a moment and then go back to fighting Ganodorf.

Smiling Zelda kissed him on the cheek as she said, "Well, then I hope that the next time we fight that we are a team inside of by ourselves."

Lucario nodded as Zelda was about to leave, but before she did she looked back and said, "Thank you Lucario for saving me."

Lucario than began to walk in the opposite direction as he said out loud, "Don't wory about thanking me Zelda for it's the least that I can do since you have been so kind to me. And for that reason I will always be there to protect you whether we are on a team or not. I will always to be there to make sure that you are safe."

Well, there you go. Now I know it wasn't that long, but I still hope that it was good and you know what I've decided to dedicate this one shot to my very good friend Yoshizilla. And even though we only ended up having those two on a team (I think) twice when we played online it doesn't change the fact that I do like this pairing.
