"You, my friend, are an idiot," Pie muttered as Kish opened the doors of the craft. The green haired alien's hand hovered for a moment, as if wondering whether or not to reply to the comment, but he quickly decided not to, slamming his hand down on the door handle, enthusiastically.
He didn't care that she'd already said she didn't feel the same. That she loved Masaya. He didn't care, he just wanted to prove to her that he could be twice as good as that pitiful earth boy, given half a chance. He grinned to himself, hurtling out into the cold earth air.
Their planet was warm nowadays. The Blue Aqua really had made a difference to the planets climate. It was now inhabitable. Their race was free. Free from hassle and torment. Was it so wrong that he wanted to tell her? The girl he loved?
His planet was inhabitable! She couldn't say no now; say no to him whisking her away from this cold cruel planet where everything beautiful was took for granted, to a planet where everything was at peace? She wouldn't say no to him making her his angel from the other universe, his queen in their new land?
He ran so fast, the people wandering the streets outside the cafe only blurs. He wanted to see her now, as soon as possible, to bring her the joyus news.
Yeah, he knew he told her it was a hopeless love; that he'd get over her, but he didn't want to. When he could provide her with so much more than that earth boy ever could.
He slowed, reaching the entrance, and he slowly floated to the ground. He could hear laughter, music and the sound of people having fun. It wasn't that the cafe wasn't usually cheerful, it was, but...
It seemed like a ceremony of some sort...
He cracked the door open, ever so slightly, just enough so he could stick his head through. It was, almost like a wedding of some sorts. His heart stopped pounding. Her wedding. To that stupid earth child, the one who had her heart instead of him. And they were happy.
The others, who's names did not concern Kish at that moment, were clapping and smiling as the bride and groom waltzed around the middle of the cafe, laughing happily as they failed to dance.
It didn't cross Kish's mind that they were far to young to get married, and besides, who gets married in a cafe anyway. It didn't cross his mind that it was actually a fake ceremony. All that crossed his mind was one word, one fruit, one love of his.
Ichigo.
He shut the door, before anyone saw him, and turned to float away, to let Pie tell him that he told him so. But before he could do that, he stopped to look at the girl who was blocking his path.
She smiled at him, her white blonde hair swirling around in the wind as she fixed her sailors cap. She was wearing some sort of uniform, despite the fact that it wasn't a school day and she had an...an air about her.
Almost like Ichigo, he dared wonder.
"The cafe isn't open today,' she said politely, "I was hoping to go too, as I heard they had lovely cakes. Is that what you were going for?'
Kish shook his head, numbed by the almost Ichigo.
"Oh, okay then! My name is Berry by the way!"
She waited for him to say his, and he managed to mutter, "Kish."
The blondes mouth formed an 'o'. "Thats a strange name," she laughed, fixing her brown bag on her shoulder.
He scowled. "And Berry is normal?!"
"No, I'm just saying its a nice name."
He blinked slowly. No one had said his name was nice before. No one had ever even commented on his name before. "Hey, Berry...do you like cats?'
She nodded, laughing, 'Yeah, I guess so!'
Kish grinned to himself, walking alongside the girl as she talked about her favourite animals, and he knew that by the end of the day, she would be his new Kitty-Cat...
