3-2-1
For Fragmenting Life
—004. Three years. Three stinking years. It was simply one excuse that kept them apart, and he was determine to show three things that'll bring them together.

3-2-1 entangled thoughts, don't know what to think,
"It's because you're a kid…."
Same excuse, and the same lame rebuttal afterwards…..nothing's changed. Kukai sighed, balancing his pencil idly on his nose as his 7h grade math teacher blabbered on about algebraic equations.
"You don't understand what love is."
And she was right; he didn't know what love was. But in truth, who did? Humans weren't made to always know every, but maybe, just maybe they were made to feel, to love. Not to know what exactly something is, but know the feeling.
"Well you haven't gone out with a girl yet…"
He tapped his pen on his desk, staring at the window, "Haven't gone out with a girl yet….huh?"

Right now. Meet me at the Ramen shop.

3-2-1 emotions running wild, but I wont let you go,
"What'd you wanted to see me for?" Utau asked impatiently, arms across her chest.
"No reason," Kukai said coolly, leaning on the counter, staring upward. He grinned. "I just wanted to see you."
Cursing herself for blushing, Utau sat down. "Whatever…"
"Utau?" He said, his eyes never leaving her features.
"Y-yeah?"
"I love you." "D-don't just randomly spurt things out!" She cried, face practically like a tomato. "A-and you're too young for me a-anyway…"
"No, I'm not," He chuckled, leaning closer. "Maybe Utau just thinks she's too old school for me."
"S-shut up."
"Go out with me," he said bumping his fist to her head. "I love you."

Let's meet up. Same place.

"Hey," Kukai said, out of breath. "Am I late?"
"No." She said curtly, face red.
He approached her, placing a hand on her forehead, their lips dangerously close. "What's wrong with you? Are you getting sick, or something?"
"I still can't….urgh. Something's wrong with me…" she murmured, almost incoherent.
Thunder clouds salute the skies; they both looked up, a few drops of falling.
Kukai looked up at them, mesmerized.
"K-kukai?"
"Hm?"
Suddenly she crashed her lips down on his. As she did, she allowed a whisper barely heard, be said, "I love you, too."
….a kiss.
Omigod. I'm seriously cringing as I write this, I CANNOT beleive I wrote something THIS sappy. Psh. I like tree sap, anyway. Stef you're going to kill me since you hate all things sappy, and adore horror apparently, but hey, I'm no Stephen King, now am I? ;-P
I hope you all enjoyed it (Especially you, Stef! Easy with that arms of yours, and please. Don't blame the rabbit for it),
