Chapter 1
Red x p.o.v
Oh god she's beautiful. The way she looks just before a fight, so calm yet so fiery, it drives me crazy. I am pulled out of my thoughts by a painful punch to the face. "Wow red x it's like you're not even trying" said the walking talking traffic lights. "That's what you think" I throw a red X at everyone except Raven knowing she would follow me I ran to the roof of the museum. She enters and I grab her by her shoulders and push her, not hard enough to seriously hurt her, against the wall. I push all my body weight to pin her against the wall and her hands above her head with my hands. "What do you gain from this? You didn't steal anything from the museum so what's the point of all this?" She asks in a stern yet quite voice. "I just wanted to spend some alone time with a beautiful empath, know any?" I say in a voice laced with confident arogance. She seems momentarily shocked and then regains her emotionless demeanour. "You can't play mind games with me I'm stronger than that." She said her voice barely above a whisper
"Are you telling me that or are you trying to reassure yourself?" I ask tilting my head waiting for her reply. She looked slightly shocked before her face regains its monotone. A black tentacle grabs me by my foot and throws me to the other side of the roof. I hear her cautiously approach me. I then spring to life throwing an X at her. She fell to the ground and I went and knelt beside her. "AZARATH MATR..." I pull my mask up to my nose and before she could finish her mantra I press my mouth to hers in a light kiss filled with passion. Raven reluctantly starts to kiss me back and the kiss becomes more passionate. My toung slips past her lips claiming her mouth as my own. When we finally come up for air we are both out of breath. I start to hear one of the other Titans coming up the stairs that lead to the roof; I pull my mask over my mouth and look at Ravens out of breath body. "I hate to leave you sunshine but we wouldn't want the other Titans to find out about are little kiss" I say the smile evident in my voice. "That was a mistake you're a villain and I'm a hero this can never happen again, do you understand?" She says frantically. I can't help but to think of how beautiful she looks when she gets all worked up. "mhm Whatever you say little bird" I take one last look at my little bird laying not so gracefully on the floor and press the teleport button on my suit.
