1 SACRAFICE PT1
(Flashback)
The blood spills...crimson red blood overlaps the bright red of the carpet in the church. Angel looks up he never thought that he would be able to enter this place. Let alone die in this place. He hears screams that seem to be coming from miles away yet they are very near. Angel has faced death many times, but know he touches the hands of his own reaper. Angel understands that a vampires death has no feeling plus it is quick and painless, but a man's death has many feelings because of the slow painfulness of it. The two-hundred plus years of his life flashes throughout his mind. The assailaintes of this attack have long gone none of whom he recognizes. Buffy screams for him to hold on as she grips his hand in determination. He knows that his body cannot. Their close friends and buffy's family look on in horror. As Angel slips away he thinks to himself "it's not fair..it's not fair to give me back my humanity then take it all away on what's supposed to be the happiest day of my life. After all I've done the sacrafice, the patience how can the powers turn their back on me on a day as important as today." The ambulance is on it's way, but angel knows it's to late. Even though death fuels his anger, the ultimate sadness from my heart goes out to Buffy. To make her feel such sadness on a day like today is unforgivable even for him. His eye's try to welt up, but he's to far gone in disbelief of the situation. Angel has died once as a vampire so he knows what happens, but never as a human only god can show what awaits him..and I fear that this is only the beginning.
