(A/N: So, I got my friends Hannah and Lucie to read The Mortal Instruments. Which is good. But they hate Jace/Clary. This was written in the feeble attempt to get them to change their mind. It probably won't work, but this was fun to write anyways. Sorry if Jace is OOC, I haven't read the books in ages. My copies have been lent out to other people for a long time now.)

In the end, Jace still loved her. How couldn't he?

They were soul mates; neither of them could deny that. But what happens when your soul mate is your sister?

Yes, it was wrong. It was wrong to love your sister like that. But it was impossible for him to stop loving her.

Love, just like any other feeling, couldn't be willed away. It couldn't just stop, just like that. If you wanted to, sometimes, you could will the love away, but what was the point? Jace wanted to love her, wanted her in his arms, wanted her smell to rub off onto him.

But he was her brother…it just didn't work that way.

No matter how much Jace wished it did.

(A/N: So did it work? Are you guys (meaning Hannah and Lucie) switched over yet? Reviews are love!)
