Letter found by Prince Vegeta of Planet Vegeta on Daichi 796 A.D.:
Dear Prince Vegeta of the future, my name is Prof. Pinnelpa of Planet Vegeta in 737 if this has reached you then it seems that the only chance of preserving my notes on our physiology has been successful.

Notes on the tail and fake moon technique start now:
The Fake Moon technique:
While it does seem a viable and useful technique for a saiyan with a tail in reaching the Oozaru state it does nothing for a saiyan or half saiyan without one.
The flaws of the fake moon technique:
It requires a perhaps vital small part of the user's energy to form.
It must be used on a planet with an atmosphere.
It cannot last for more than a few hours.
It gives no help to a tailess saiyan in regrowing his/her tail.
Notes on the tail:
The tail is very interesting through a process yet unknown the biological weakness of extreme fatigue, weakness, and energy loss is easily overcome.
Without one's tail intact the subject's potential and overall strength level is theoretically cut in half.
Once the tail is lost the saiyan in question can no longer achieve the two most intresting states in saiyan history; the Oozaru state, and the legendary SSJ4 state, without either growing it by the moon, a bombardment of blutz waves, or during the puberty stage of a saiyan or half saiyan.
The SSJ4 state can only be achieved by two ways as said before, by a moon or something that reflects 17 billion blutz or by a blutz wave generator.
The utilization of second way however is only temporary and the full potential of the Transformation cannot be reached.
The SSJ4 state cannot unfortunately be reached by any saiyan of something in their blood or genetics other than full saiyan blood or traits.
This applies to half-saiyans and below.
This also may or may not discourage certain saiyans from mating with a race other than their own because the hidden potential of a half saiyan is only nature's way of trying to compensate for the loss of the most powerful form of the saiyan race.
