Twenty years have passed since the defeat of Darth Treya at the hands of The Exile. Malachor V has been destroyed and with it, Treyus Academy, it's secrets forever lost in the Malachor V debris field. The Jedi Order has been restored by the Exile and the Republic is well on the way to full recovery. However, all is not well.

Darth Silva, former apprentice of legendary Jedi Master Kal Kowloon, has sparked a new Sith movment. His goal: Dark Side domination of the galaxy and the death or conversion of every last Jedi. His war has lasted for ten years and despite the sincerest efforts of the Jedi Order and the Republic, his victory seems inevitable.

This is the story of Raye Tikalu, a young boy whose path will cross that of Darth Silva many times. Born on a planet on the border of the Mid Rim worlds, he is fascinated by all things Jedi, specifically their lightsabers. Despite his fascination with the Jedi, he never thought he would become one, and no one ever thought he might be the only person capable of defeating Silva.
