Pairing: Hibari/Tsuna
Prologue: Not Goodbye
"Kyouya nii-chan, I'm leaving tomorrow," said Tsuna sitting next to Hibari at the park bench late afternoon.
Hibari did not answer Tsuna as he stared off into the distance, as the sky darkened and the sun turning into a brilliant orange hue.
"Mama said we're going to Italy because of Papa's new job a-and that we might not come back," Tsuna continued looking down with a sad expression.
"B-but I-I'll defiantly come back," Tsuna nearly exclaimed looking toward Hibari with bright eyes, "s-so, will you… wait for me," ending timidly as he looked back down.
Tsuna fidgeted as he waited for Hibari to give a reply but Hibari simply continued to look off into the distance not even meeting Tsuna's eyes. Tsuna's eyes burned and pearls of tears started to roll down as his cheek as the silence continued. Finally as he could no longer contain his sobs he stood up from the bench, his heal lifting off the ground, weight transferring to his toes getting ready to sprint out of the park. As he was taking his first step, swiftly Hibari reached out his hand grabbing hold of Tsuna's tiny wrist, effectively stopping him in place.
"I'll wait for you herbivore, you're mine," Hibari stated and bore up into Tsuna's watery eyes.
Tsuna's face brightened up into a brilliant smile and hugged Hibari as hard as he could. Hibari continued sitting impassively as he was hugged by Tsuna but for Tsuna that was enough because he knew that if Hibari truly hated him then he would be bloody heap on the floor for just touching him.
Tsuna finally let go of Hibari, said good bye and started to head out of the park but stopped half way towards the exit. Hibari's eye brows quirked as Tsuna looked back at him with an expression he never seen on the herbivores face.
Tsuna ran back to Hibari and gave a light peck to the cheek.
"B-bye Kyouya nii-chan, I-I'll s-see you again someday!" Tsuna face was completely beet red as he said his farewell and this time headed out of the park.
Hibari watched Tsuna leave with a bit more wide eyed expression then usual and smirked.
"I guess you can be an omnivore when you try."
Author's Note: Okay, okay I know that I haven't updated "Sora no Tame no Kumo" in like forever but this fic idea just popped up and I couldn't let it go so here it is. To be honest I'm good with the first chapter or two of a fic and then it's utter crap. I'll actually try to write new chapters for my fic this year but no guaranty that I will sorry. So hope you enjoy the prologue and hopefully I will update soon.
