Catch Me

Chapter One: Pilot

6:15 AM:

As his phone alarm went off, his dark haired, green eyed mom walked in. "Con, time to wake up!"

"Yea Mom, I'm up." He mumbled sleepily as he stood up towering over his mom, shaking his blonde curls everywhere.

"Con, don't forget you're picking Lexie up today, and Danie called earlier."

"What'd she want?" His eyes became full of life at the mention of Danie's name. The tall blonde beauty happened to be the one he was head over heals for, although her best friend was his girlfriend.

"She wanted to know if she's still able to meet you in the driveway for a ride."

"Of course, why wouldn't I give her a ride?"

"I don't know. It seems like you two have been pretty distant lately. Don't forget about her with Lexie. Lexie is a sweet girl and all, but would you give it all up for her? I know you would give it all up for Danie. You two have-"

"I know Mom; we have 'years of friendship behind us.'" He replied, mimicking his mother's voice. "I'll text her, I need to get ready now so..." Connor tried to shoo his mom away nicely.

"Oh all right." Penelope left her eldest son's bedroom to go get the youngest.

Connor took a quick shower and got out just in time to smell the fresh eggs being prepared.

Danie scampered around her room tossing all her discarded clothes around in an effort to find something to wear on the last day of school. No more finals, no more teachers, no more seeing Lexie and Con make out in front of MY locker. It's just going to be me, Charlie, Lex and Con on the beach. God I can't stand those two together. Why can't he just like me? We've known each other since diapers. Maybe he thinks of me as a sister? Danie's thoughts were broken by the sound of her 5 year old sister busting through her door. "Willow! How many times have I told you to knock before you came in?"

"Mommy wants to know if you have a ride to school." The mini brunette stated.

"I'll text Con, see anything I can wear today?" Danie questioned as she began to text quickly.

Willow began searching through all the clothes strewn across the room. "How about this?" She held up a pinkish purple American Eagle dress.

"Where did that come from?"

"On the floor?"

Danie laughed her melodic laugh and shooed her baby sister away. "Tell Mom I have a ride please."

"Remmy! Where are you?" Lexie looked under her bed for her new black, furry Newfoundland puppy. "Remmy come on! I need my shoe back!"

"Looking for this?" Her twin brother, Charlie, walked in holding the squirming puppy in one arm and the navy blue converse in his opposite hand.

The bouncing brunette ran over to her brother taking her shoe and sliding it onto her foot. "I can't believe you don't have any more exams. That's not fair."

Charlie laughs, "Well I mean you can't blame me, I didn't choose when my study hall and lunch where. It just so happened they were fourth and fifth period."

"Whatever, Connie will be here soon to take me to school so move out of my way!" Lexie pushed passed her muscular six foot brother and ran down the stairs.
