Last night I was typing on the computer, so I wrote this poem for fun. It's for you to decide about who or what the poem is talking about. So here it is:
My Obsession
Years ago I met you
When I was young and innocent
Not knowing right from wrong.
I grew to love you
Eventually wasting my life away
Obsessing over you.
I spent days wondering
And thinking about the future
With you and me.
I imagined we would be happy together
Forever and ever
But I was wrong.
Years later, you left me
And I was all alone
No one was here to help.
My heart was broken
I couldn't get over how you affected my life
So I died inside.
As time passed, I became older
Slowly growing up from the past.
You never returned, so I moved on
Living my life to the fullest.
But in truth, I'll never truly forget you
My first love.
So everyone, how'd you like it? Sorry if it was weird cause in truth, I'm not much of a poet. Oh well. Review please! Oh, and tell me what you thought who or what the poem was about cause I can't decide.
