Note: Fairy!AU (Think Tinkerbell)
Sybil's eyes widened at the sight before her. There were large drops of water falling from the leaves outside her tiny home. They would hit the centre of the leaf, dripping down the slope of it at a fast pace, but Sybil saw it in slow motion. She saw the potential in the droplets.
Sybil was a tinker fairy, and her life consisted of fixing and creating different devices for the rest of the fairies. Right then, she saw the perfect sized water drops for her latest invention.
She would have to get one of the droplets before the rain would stop and her chance was gone! It hardly rained near her nook, so this was a gift! With her tongue sticking partly out of her mouth, Sybil brushed back her mass of curls.
"You can do this, Sybil," she said. "You just have to be extremely careful, slow, and precise."
She took a deep breath and made her way to the door of her nook. As soon as she opened the door, the rushing sound of the water dropping filled her ears. Sybil grabbed a leaf carrier, flying slowly to her target.
Sybil reached out to the water with her carrier, arms shaking as she caught one of the drops of water. Sybil cheered, only for the water droplet to burst from her voice. Darn it.
