JUST FELT LIKE MAKING SOME BARBIE FANFICTION; CALL ME CHILDISH, I KNOW I AM :D
She Loved Him by PS
She loved him.
She had loved him since the very first time that they had met.
But he loved Elina, the beautiful fairy that saved all of their world. Nori was nothing against her.
The mermaid saw herself as nothing when Nalu talked of nothing but Elina. Who would want a strange, prideful, and vain mermaid with strange blue hair and a floppy tail?
She almost wanted to leave Mermaidia, but she wouldn't dare. It was her home, the place where she and her parents last saw each other before they were killed.
No matter what, she wouldn't leave Nalu's side, even if that meant she had to go through all of this pain just to be with him.
Yes, she loved him. But she doubted that he would ever feel the same…
"You love him, don't you?"
Nori stopped mid stroke and glanced over at the now mermaid Elina, "it doesn't matter. He's a prince, I'm a commoner; besides, I think he's in love with someone else…"
Elina looked mildly surprised, her green eyes wide and curious, "really? Who?"
Nori avoided the question, she always did…
Nalu loved her, and she loved him.
Elina was sadly leaving along with Bibble, leaving the two of them alone in the secluded area.
She glanced shyly down at their hands then into his green eyes, oh how she loved those green eyes.
"So," he spoke first, "you really love me?"
She bit her lip, trying to hold back a smile, "yes…but I know what you'll say, you're a prince, and I'm just a commoner, it will never work out."
Warm, slightly calloused fingers tilted her chin up; his eyes sparkled with nothing but honesty, "I would never say that to you. Or anyone for that matter…I love you Nori, I have since the day we met. I just…I didn't think that you felt the same so I kept it to myself."
She blinked, surprised, "b-but, I thought you loved Elina! You were always talking about her, and the way you acted…"
Nalu smiled wryly at her, "no. I just needed to talk about something to get my mind off of you. Elina's my friend, and only that. Yes, we are good friends, but she'll never be like you. Never."
Her lip's parted in surprise, and she stared up at him, "Nalu…" She honestly didn't know what to say to him. "I love you Nalu."
He smiled at her, his eyes sparkling, "I love you too Nori."
Then, he pulled her in for a kiss, his sea green eyes smoldering as they stared into her lagoon blue ones.
The kiss was perfect, but not as perfect as their love…
