So I've been through alot since I last saw you guys and recently me and my girlfriend of four years broke up...

I don't want to get to much into it but we agreed to stay friends and I just want her to be happy~

This is kinda based off of how I'm feeling, Keoni if you could please?

"i'm sorry Gar, it's over... you deserve so much better than me...you deserve to be happy"

The changeling looked on in shock as his favorite empath looked away, subtly wiping at her eyes as she flicked her hood up, his throat growing thick as he choked back a sob, biting down on his lip to keep the tears from falling.

"B-But...you're all I want...you're what makes me happy...I don't I don't understand" Beastboy stammered, shaking his head in disbelief that they were having THIS conversation.

Raven sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose, looking at anything but his eyes knowing as soon she did she'd drown once again into their memorizing emerald depths.

"Im sorry Ga-Beastboy but I just can't lead you on anymore...I always knew this was gonna happen but I was selfish and wanted to keep you...even if I knew it was wrong...but I have to let you go...you deserve so much more than this~" Raven breathed out shakily, her mask breaking as she said the words

The green teen swallowed heavily as the tears finally started falling, he didn't get it. Just last week they were fine and happy and then this week they did nothing but fight...they always made up but this time it was different, because now he finally knew why she always kept herself hidden...even from him and nothing he could do or say would ever be able to get her to change her mind once she set it...

Beastboy shyly grabbed her hands, relieved that she didn't pull back as he slowly interlaced their fingers to memorize what they felt like between his before he had to let go

"I loved you you know..." He murmured in a soft voice, afraid that if he'd speak any louder his voice would break with another sob,

Raven nodded shakily as she squeezed his hand

"I know~"

Beastboy sighed, rubbing his face to get rid of the ever building tears that kept growing behind his eyelids,

"T-Then...we can stay friends?~ and you can focus on getting better while still knowing you're loved~ and if you change your mind... I'll be here~" the boy smiled crookedly in the very same smile that caused the sorceress to fall for him, melting her heart all over again as she smiled a relieved waterly smile back.

"I'd really like that~" she hiccuped, rubbing her eyes biting her lip before pulling him into a tight hug, which the changeling immediately returned.

"I love you~" she whispered, capturing his lips for a final time before slowly disappearing in a sea of black.

Beastboy slumped against his bedroom wall, slowly crumbling to the floor as the dam finally broke and he sobbed in heartbroken gasps

And no one would know how long he remained there that night, crying over the girl he loved, but they all remembered the smile he gave the day after as he walked into the common room

Because even though he was heartbroken, he just wanted her to be happy

And if they were meant to be he knew they'd find their way back to each other
