Oh Oh! Christmas is Coming! Those elves and reindeer are running! And I just want you by my side!
As it's snowing outside I hear everyone so excited for this years Christmas party.
The Fairy Tail Party.
"Mavis?" I hear someone call me.
"Yes." I turn to see Lucy.
"I'm sure he'll make it. Natsu and Gray are with him. Jellal too." Lucy said.
I smile at her. "Thank you Lucy." I tell her.
She goes back to decorating with Gajeel, Juvia, Lisanna, and Levy.
The day is the 23ed of December.
And tomorrow was the party.
"Tell me something guys. Why did we wait till the very last second to do all the decorating and gift buying?" I ask everyone.
No one answered.
"Well..." I turned around not wanting to hear the excuse Gajeel was thinking up.
I look back outside at the falling snow. Hoping that Zeref will come home soon.
"Mavis. He'll come as soon as he can." Lucy said.
"Like Santa will bring him here?" I asked her.
"Sure...Like that." Lucy said.
I could near all the boys laughing. Levy glared at them all. "Relax. Santa will bring Zeref if he is late." Levy said.
I smiled. "Thanks. Girls." I said to them.
It was the next day and the party was just...GREAT!
Everyone was having so much fun.
"Mavis. Why are you not having fun?" Lucy asked me.
"I'm waiting for Zeref." I told her.
I sat close to the window so I could see when he came up to the door.
"Mavis." Levy called my name.
I wasn't paying much attention.
"Mavis." This time it was Natsu. "Come with me." He said. I looked at him at first then followed him outside.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
He didn't say anything.
"We're going to the docks. Zeref should get her in a few hours." He said.
I smiled at him. "Thanks, Natsu." I told him.
We walked to the sock and...
"What?" They we're closed.
"Hay! What is this?" Natsu asked.
"Sorry. But the socks are closed for the holidays." Said the man.
Zeref...wasn't coming?
No! he is coming. Santa will bring him here.
I told myself that. but as I drifted off to sleep...
I couldn't stop thinking about him. My first Christmas and Zeref wasn't going to be here.
I stared to cry.
The next morning.
"Marry Christmas!" Everyone shouted.
The tree looked all festive and bright. Presents were everywhere. I even found a few with my name on them.
"Mavis?" Levy came up to me.
"He's not here. He isn't coming. Santa...never..."
"I'm so sorry, Mavis." Levy said.
Then I noticed...
"Where is Natsu?" I asked.
"I have no clue." Lucy said.
"Who cares." Gray said.
Erza whacked him upside the head.
"Sorry." He cried.
"Natsu?" I called his name.
The doors burst.
"Mavis! Come with me!" Natsu said. I followed right behind him and I...
"Mavis! Here is your Christmas present!" Natsu said.
"I forgot to get you something so this was the best I could do." He said.
He brought me...
"Zeref? Zeref!" he came home to me. For Christmas.
"Mavis." he said as I hugged him.
"Marry Christmas. My Mavis." He handed me a gift.
"What is it?" I asked as I opened it. "Wow! it's a snow globe!" I always wanted one.
"And it's the Nutcracker. Clara and the prince." Zeref added.
I was in such shock and aw.
"Thanks so much Zeref." I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Marry Christmas." I said to him.
