Steven walked through the jungle brush, trying to find the warp pad he arrived on. No luck. It was rainy and hard to see, the only thing keeping him dry was his shield floating above his head. He summoned his sword out of his gem and began cutting through some of the thicker bushes. There it was! The warp pad!
Steven stepped on it and activated it. In a big flash of light, he disappeared.
"Alright, so the connecting warp is up and running. I really hope Amethyst and Pearl are doing alright by themselves."
"Give me the gem!" yelled Pearl.
"No! I made the final hit, I get to bubble it!" retorted Amethyst.
Pearl and Amethyst kept fighting for the massive gem as they activated the warp pad.
As they floated through the warp stream, they were to busy hitting each other and arguing to realize that the, still un-bubbled and very massive, gem was floating up and away from them. They arrived at the temple and instantly:
CRASH!
The gem fell from the ceiling, making a crack in the warp pad.
Pearl and Amethyst gasped. Garnet walked out of the temple door.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
Amethyst and Pearl could only point at the warp in silence, shock, and fear.
Garnet stoically looked the warp pad over, then looked at them.
"Welp. He'll think of something. He always does." She shrugged, then walked out the door toward Beach City.
