I dont have a lot of time before i gotta help with Thanksgiving dinner, so let me cut this short. I woke up singing Christmas carols and then realized i had to get through Thanksgiving first, cuz I'm merican. So, I cried at the thought of not being able to do a thanksgiving oneshot (cause i have 67 documents in my doc manager and thats over the limit). So, i deleted most of my games on my kindle and got storage for the app. So, here I am writing y'all a oneshot. Enjoy! (spinoff of my Christmas story)

~Thanksgiving n The Garmadon Family~

Laurence, Lloyd, Nancy, and Jaylynn Garmadon all were sitting in the living room eating pumpkin spice cookies. "Can you believe its Thanksgiving already?" Nancy asked, after sipping her Pumpkin Spice mocha. "I know, right? And with Thanksgiving here, that leaves Christmas right around the corner." Jaylynn added. Lloyd smiled, "I know what I want for Christmas already." "As do I." muttered Laurence. "what is it?" Nancy asked. "I want the new Fritz Donnegan comic. Jay and I are competing to see who can get their hands on it first." Lloyd took another cookie. "What about you, Laurence?" Jaylynn asked, turning to her other brother. "Better siblings." Laurence got up and left.

"L..lavender?" Jaylynn began to cry slightly. "ITS LAURENCE!" Corrected Laurence, from his room. "Jaylynn, don't cry. It's Thanksgiving. Be thankful that he didn't say anything worse than that." Lloyd said, looking on the bright side. "Yeah, Lynn. It's ok." Nancy put her hand on Jaylynns shoulder.

"Nancy, I need you!" called Misako. "Coming, mom!" Nancy left to the kitchen. "So," Jaylynn turned to Lloyd. "Mom and dad said we can each invite 2 people for dinner. Who did you invite?" "Kris and Kai." Lloyd replied. "Ooh, Greenflame verses Llistina." Jaylynn smirked. "Stop shipping me and

Kai! Lynn, the date was a dare! It wasn't even considered a real date." Lloyd blushed in exasperation. "Ok, ok. I'll stop." Jaylynn giggled. "Who did you and Nancy invite?" Lloyd asked. "I invited Morro and Jay. Nancy invited Zane and some boy from her work named Matthew." Jaylynn replied. "Ok, cool. I don't think Lavend— er, Laurence even has friends." Lloyd stated. "I do too have friends," Laurence stood in the doorway. "Skylor. I invited Skylor." Laurence said. "Ok." Lloyd smiled.

At that very moment, someone knocked on the door in a very song-like tune. "Come in! The doors' always open!" Jaylynn called. Morro strolled inside, a smirk upon his face. "Jaylynn, I know you stole that from Full House." "Morro!" she ran and hugged him. "Heya, JayJayPie." he stated. "I missed you." Jaylynn whispered. Morro smiled. "Um hey Lloyd, can you help me with something?" Morro asked, after Jaylynn let go of him. "Yurp!" Lloyd sprung up from his spot on the couch and skipped to Morro. "I just need help getting some stuff from the car." Morro stated. "ok!" the two went outside.

"Hey, Lynn! I'm back." Nancy announced, coming into the living room. "Does nobody acknowledge my presence anymore? This is why I want better siblings." Laurence stated. The two sisters jumped up at the sound of his voice. "Sorry." they both said in unison.

Lloyd and Morro strolled back inside. "Hey, you didn't forget after all!" Jaylynn stated, referring to the side dishes Morro brought to go along with the traditional dinner. "Nope," he sighed. "for once." "Lavender, help me take these to the kitchen." Lloyd said. "Its Laurence..." Laurence took the pans that Morro was holding, and followed his blonde-haired twin to the kitchen.

"I'm confused. Is he Lavender or Laurence?" Morro asked. "Lavender. He makes us call him Laurence, so he won't get embarrassed." Nancy laughed. "Oh... Okay then." Morro smiled. "So, how's life?" Jaylynn asked. "Good... and i just have to get one more thing." Morro left. When he returned, he had snow in his hair, and his face was red. "Morro, you ok?" Jaylynn asked. "Yeah. We got our first snowfall of the year," He closed the front door. "and here's what you asked for." Morro handed her a Starbuck

s drink. "Awe, thanks. Though, you do realize I was kidding when I said I needed Starbucks, right?" She brushed the snow out of his hair. "I'm aware." he replied. "Awe, best boyfriend ever." she kissed him lightly.

"Oh my god, stop." Nancy fake gagged. "Can it, Nancy. Be mature." Jaylynn scowled. "Hello, is anyone here?" said a voice. They turned to the door. Jay was peeking his head in. "Hiya, other other little bro!" Jaylynn opened the door for him. "Heyo, sista." Jay smiled. "Yay, my peeps are here first! Nancy, give me the money." Jaylynn smirked. "Dude, you two were betting on us?" Morro asked. "Yep!" Jaylynn replied, taking the money Nancy held out. "You were!?" shouted the twins, now in the living room. "Ok, Lloyd. Give it." Laurence demanded. Lloyd gave him $25. "What's happening?" Jay asked. "We bet that Nancy and Jaylynn had a bet on who would show up first." Lloyd explained. Morro sighed and gave Jay $28. "What was THAT for?" Nancy asked. "We bet that the twins would bet that you would bet on us arriving." Morro explained. "I'm dizzy..." Jaylynn fainted.

Nancy sighed and carried her to the couch. "So, what do you wanna do until everyone gets here?" Nancy asked. "um... i dunno." Lloyd replied. "Hey, can any of you help me with dinner?" Misako asked, peeking her head into the living room. "I can." Morro volunteered. "Great! Come here please." Misako and Morro left to the kitchen.

A few hours later, all the guests arrived. Everyone was over at the table. "Well, before we begin, why don't we each say what we're grateful for?I can start," Garmadon stated. "I am grateful that we can all be here together as friends and family." "Me next," Lloyd said. "I'm grateful for my family, and my Kris." Lloyd took Kristina's hand. "I'm grateful for my precious Lloydie." Kristina said. Nancy gagged. "Um... I'm grateful for my step-sister JayJayPie." Jay smirked. "Hey, only I call her JayJayPie!" Morro scolded. "Ahem... anyway, I'm grateful for my sister and everyone here." Morro stated. Samaria, whom was invited by Misako, smiled as Morro said that. "I'm grateful for the roof over our heads..." Misako said quietly. "I'm grateful for a well-paying job, and the best work companion ever." said Matthew (Nancy's friend). "I'm grateful for sensei, and my awesome element of fire!" Kai said, smirking. "Whatever, Kai. I am grateful for the balance of good and evil, making us who we are." Zane stated. "Amen to that!" agreed Samaria. "I am grateful for Kai." Skylor said. "Ew, are you sure you're not grateful for something else?" Jaylynn asked. "Shut up." Skylor glared at her. "I'm grateful for those before us... giving us the life we have today." Samaria said.

"Is that everyone?" Misako asked. "No. Lavender hasn't gone yet." Lloyd pointed to Lavender. "Oh, right. I'm grateful for... food, I guess?" he said. "Alright, happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Enjoy the meal." Misako said. Everyone enjoyed the feast.

a few house later...

"Bye, thank you for coming!" Jaylynn shut the door just as the las guest left. "Wow. We should do dinners like this more often." Nancy said. "I agree." Lloyd stated, then sneezed after his statement. "You ok?" Jaylynn asked. "I'm fine. Probably just my allergies." Lloyd replied, sniffing. "You all should get to bed. Christmas is right around the corner." Misako said. "Ok, goodnight." Lloyd left for his room, followed by Lavender.

"Night, mom. I'm gonna get to bed, too. I've got work in the morning." Nancy left for her and Jaylynn's shared room. Jaylynn left as well. "Well, I'd say everything went well." Misako said. "Agreed. Let's hope Christmas will turn out as well as this did." Garmadon stated. "Hapoy Thanksgiving."

Ok, so i had dinner 6 hours ago (3:00) and i was writing this between helping my mom with dinner, and I'm currently trying to finish before my shower so i can watch 90's movies with my dad XD XD
