Taken from ZEXAL episode 91, AU (sadly). Rio's reaction to Bronk thinking that she and Yuma were dating and that Shark approved of it, is a bit different. Icebaitshipping, YuRio, Yuma x Rio. Slight Tori and Cathy-bashing. Don't like, don't read. T to be safe.

Agh ... it's been a while... hello people of the ZEXAL universe! :)

This is my first drabble for Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL (obviously) and as I heavily dislike Mizuki Kotori... well, if you like her, good for you. This drabble would not be for you than, so move on and don't flame (unless you really don't have better things to do with your life). Moving on...

Prompt: Tori and Cathy pinching Yuma's butt when Caswell calls Yuma and Rio "a most sensational couple". Rio reacts a bit differently. The scene doesn't exist in the dub of ZEXAL. Taken from ZEXAL episode 91.

Yuma x Rio

"Anyways..." Rio stopped talking when she saw Tori and Cathy pinch Yuma's butt. "What are you two doing?"

"W-we? Meow!" Cathy shut up quickly and ran away, leaving a confused Rio to stare at Tori, whose hand was still on Yuma's butt. "Would you please remove your hand from him? I don't want to get infected."

Tori did so, staring at her in a shocked way. "What? Infected by what? I'm not contagious!"

"Yes." Rio walked over to them and put her arms around a now flushing Yuma's shoulders. "You may not be, but your intelligence is. I don't want my boyfriend to suddenly be unable to duel."

"B-boyfriend!?" Tori gaped and turned to glare at Yuma. "S-say something! You didn't even understand what Bronk meant by it!"

"W-well..." Yuma looked at them both. "I d-do now. And I really wouldn't mind i-it..." he told Rio. "As long as Shark doesn't k-kill me."

"He won't." Rio smiled, putting her head on his shoulder as well as she looked at Tori. "Is that enough for you? It'd be nice if you left now, my boyfriend and I would like some time by ourselves."

Tori sniffed and ran away crying like the useless girl that she was as Rio turned to look at Yuma.

"Now, let's go and tell onii-san. He is bound to be happy because he doesn't really hate you like he does all the other guys that I talk with on a daily basis."

"Well... what a relief." Yuma smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Let's go."

And they left, chatting about dueling, their friends, Shark and their future.

No one noticed Bronk in the background, looking at the sunset with a small smile on his face.
