Memory- Chapter 1
The darkness seemed to swallow her whole, consuming her every thought and sight as it dragged her down further and further. A voice kept calling her name, it sounded like an angels voice, but she couldn't recognize it. She was focusing on the last bit of light that was left, trying to keep that light with her. Trying to stay alive.
Her eyes flashed open for a moment, and she stared at the person holding her, Neji.
He looked very upset, and he was yelling at their comrade Lee.
"Lee, forget about revenge she may still be alive!" Neji yelled, obviously mad.
"But, Neji…" Lee mumbled, trying to find the right words.
"If you both would just look at her," Gai sensei interrupted, "You would see her eyes have finally opened again."
Everyone's eyes then flashed towards her, staring her down.
"Are you okay Tenten?" Neji questioned, utterly horrified.
Her lips trembled as she tried to speak, but she couldn't. The last of her energy was being used, watching them talk.
This could be the end for me, she thought sadly.
"Tenten? Can you hear me?" Neji wondered, getting more worried by the second.
Her eyes slowly closed and she slipped back into the darkness, the last place she wanted to be right now, it seeped into her soul and consumed her completely.
