Expect the Unexpected
"Hell is breaking loose, and finally his identity would be revealed."
Naruto was on a mission along with Shikamaru, Neji, Kakashi, Gai, Kankuro and Rock Lee. They were face to face with the two obscure members of Akatsuki, Hidan and Kakazu. The tension was increasing as they glared at each other. Surely after all those years, everybody grew stronger, especially Naruto, but was that enough to defeat two class-S criminals?
Without any words of introduction, the fight began. It was a seven-against-two fight and yet no one seemed to gain the advantage. There was a clashing of kunais from here and there; each one trying to outwit their foe.
The fight took longer than it should have been. In the middle of their fight Kakashi ordered Naruto to go ahead. He was hesitant but just a single duet smile from the number one smiling faces, Gai and Lee, was enough to force him to obey.
He jumped from tree to tree, towards his destination—the Akatsuki Ground. His teammates risked their lives for the mission and for that, he must not fail. Fighting for almost eternity, a sweat fell down from his forehead and fatigue was slowly taking over him, but he shrugged it off.
Finally, he made it! Standing before the hidden place of Akatsuki, a mass of excitement ran through his spine. He could not wait to fight the leader of Akatsuki and end his wickedness.
Mysteriously, no one hindered him from entering and before he knew it he was there, at the main room. It was dark and he could barely see himself. "So you're here," a voice said. A light opened and illuminated the owner of the voice. It was Kisame, the side-kick of Itachi.
Another figure appeared. "The master's waiting for you," Itachi said with his usual emotionless tone.
Stunned and at the same time honored, to face, with the two prominent member of Akatsuki, he could not suppress a grin of satisfaction. Then someone appeared through the shadows.
Slowly, he approached and as if a domino effect, Itachi and Kisame knelt down. "Master," both of them said in unison. After the grand entrance, from a shadowy figure, came the leader of the Akatsuki. He was wearing a blood-stained crown and a wicked grin was plastered on his face.
Though, drop-mouthed in surprise, Naruto managed to say, "Akamaru?" Then he was answered through a bark he did not understand.
