The fountain of youth.

This was his third move into getting what he wanted.

A chance to show the crew who left him what he was made of.

Jack Sparrow looked at part of a map that lay in his hands. He soon grabbed his compass and opened it. Three miles north seems right. Jack mumbled to himself. As soon as he said this, he saw a ship in the distance (since he was on a tiny boat, he was no match for the ship). The ship came and a crew member saw Jack.

"A-hoy! If it isn't Jack Sparrow." Jack looked up to see a smiling Barbossa.

"What do you want?"

"I want the rest of that map you have there."

Jack quickly put the map behind his back. "I don't have anything."

"Sure you don't, Jack. We will just have to get you to surrender that map." Everyone on the ship pointed their weapons at Jack.

"Okay... if we play it the pirate way. You will have to have me as captain."

"I will never."

"No map."

"You want to end up in death, Jack Sparrow?"

"Alright... you win. But only on sudden advantage."

"I thought so..."

Jack went to see Elizabeth Swann. "Well, if it isn't Elizabeth."

"Jack Sparrow... I believe we had some agreement according to Will Turner's reign of the Dutchman. I want all that you have..."

"I believe you don't understand the part that it was your agreement. I never agreed."

"You did you filthy pirate."

"And what do you call yourself? A governor's daughter? No? What then? A pirate?"

"I'm not a filthy pirate like you."

"All pirates are filthy."

Jack Sparrow turned away from the lady pirate and began speaking to the crew, "Everyone! I know you might have missed me or tried to run me off looking over around the world for you but doesn't it seem clear that we go to Florida where all the gold is?"

Everyone started questioning amongst themselves.

"We will be the richest pirates man has ever known! Or the only pirates with money on them, but it's a chance according to the map!"

Barbossa let off a smile, "I hear that you're making chances, Jack, that will change pirate laws forever. Do you think a bunch of my crew is going to listen to you? It's Florida... There's no gold there. I hear that there's Incan gold down in Mexico but if you think there is any in Florida, we will go, but I'm still captain no matter what happens." He turned away from Jack and started giving out orders. Then, he turned back to Jack, "Which way to Florida?"

"North."

It was midnight as the crew got to Florida. No one felt like searching through this new territory so they went to sleep on the ship. Elizabeth Swan was still gazing out at the Pacific bordering Florida and didn't notice Jack Sparrow was standing next to her.

"The seven seas as we know it lies out there. And you're seeing one of those seas, Ms. Swan. It is a beauty." Elizabeth turned to her side to see Jack eating an apple.

"The only one I care that is out there is Will Turner."

"You are picky on your decisions but love is never for a pirate. Love is for those damn aristocrats who meddle in France drinking rum all day with their cats and bread. Love is not for women like you. A pirate rarely chooses love since love is a meer thing that can set apart everyone. Love is not for everyone."

"But it's for me, Jack Sparrow. I know that you must have loved women before."

"Not loved. I just mess around with them. It's the ones who seem to be aquainted with many men that catch my attention. And women might as well do it. Well, off to bed... after a nice drop of rum."
