Hold On
Luke and Noah are shopping for camping stuff.
"I don't believe that I just spend three hundred dollars on this stuff." Luke says
"But it will be worth it." Noah says smiling
While they were talking Maddie comes up to them.
"Hey you two."
"Hi, Maddie" Luke says
"What are you doing?"
Oh, we are going on a camping trip." Luke says looking at Noah
"Maddie, it's actually going to be the two of us and my father." Noah says
Then Noah's phone rings.
"Excuse me." Noah says before answering his phone and walks away.
"What's wrong, Maddie?" Luke asks
Maddie looks at Luke and says, "Don't go Luke. I don't trust Noah's father."
Noah walks back up to them.
"That was my father. He said that we should go up there early. Are you ready?"
"I think so. Everything will be okay, Maddie." Luke says
Noah and Luke say goodbye to Maddie and go to Luke's house.
When they get to the house Noah's father is waiting for them.
"Hey Dad" Noah says
"Hey guys. You ready?"
"Yep, let me get my bag." Luke says getting his bag
Luke comes back into the room and they leave.
They get to the campsite.
"Just follow the trail and we will be at the camp site." Noah's father says
They walk on the trail through the woods and looking at the scenery.
They enter an open space and see a tent and other stuff there.
"Wow, you out did yourself dad."
"You know I always like everything perfect. But son I did forget something son. I left the tackle box in the car."
"That is the first."
"I know son. Why don't you get that and Luke should get some firewood.
"Okay" Luke says looking at Noah and then walking away
Noah looks at his dad and says, "Thanks for this. Luke is very important to me and I am glad that you have accepted me."
"Your welcome son. I am glad that you are happy."
They hug each other and Noah walks away.
Col Mayer walks over to a tree where he earlier hides a rifle.
"This is for destroying my son." He says to himself
He walks over to where he could see Luke picking up sticks for the fire.
He picks up the rifle and looks throw the eye piece and shoots the rifle. The bullet hits Luke right in the back.
Noah hears the shot and runs up the trail.
Noah sees Luke on the ground with blood coming out of the back.
"Luke" Noah says running to his side
He feels his neck for a pulse; "Luke, hold on"
He looks up the trail and sees his father standing there with a rifle.
"What did you do? I thought you understood what is going on with me and Luke. I love him. Hold on, Luke."
Noah gets his phone out and gets reception to call 911.
"911, what's your emergency?"
"My boyfriend got shot in the back. He still breathing."
"Where are you at?"
"We are at Bear Canyon. The first trail and I need the police; my father is the one that shot Luke."
Noah hangs up the phone and says "They are on their way."
"Noah" Luke says softly
"Its okay, Luke. Helps on its way."
Noah takes his hand.
"Hold on, Luke. I can't lose you. I love you."
The help shows up with the police.
The police arrest Noah's father and the help takes Luke to the hospital.
Couple of days later
Luke is in the hospital.
Noah is setting by the bed watching him sleep.
"Thank you for letting him stay here with him. I couldn't lose him. I love him." Talking to himself
"I love you too, Noah." Smiling at Noah
Smiling, Noah leans in and gives Luke a kiss.
