Title: I Love You Saukerl
The story on how Rosa and Hans came to meet.
AN: Hi, thank you for deciding to read this story on how Mama and Papa fell in love, I hope you like it. Also, if you enjoy this it would mean a lot to me if you would check out my other story 'Every New Beginning' it's from the Darkest Powers series.
I don't usually go on vacations like this, but considering all the new advances on medicine and care for human life I suppose I can spare a few hours for those that I should be seeing. My brief escapes from my dreadful job are almost the only thing I look forward to nowadays, ever since Leisel people normally do not seem exceptional at all. I haven't met anyone who loved books and hungered for them quite like she did.
I suppose that's where you come in of course, yes I can see you there following me. I guess you love words and books and learning too. You must be wondering how our word shaker came to be the way that she was all those years ago, no this all did not start on the train! Come now I thought you were brighter than that, well maybe I should just show you how this all started, you have of course been following me all this time.
.Blue for Loyalty.
It all started in a quiet marketplace in the southern part of Germany near Munich. It was 1909 and the very thought of war was on no ones minds. Coming around the corner is someone who obviously know but may not recognize. He is tall and lanky with a strong back and tanned from working long days with his father. His hair is a bit longer than what was thought to be appropriate and he often got teased for it by his friends.
This young man is of course Hans Huberman, at this time he is only out of his teen years and planning to inherit his family business. I for one know this will not happen but I'll allow the story to unfold on its own. He's out for his day off and as always is spending it with his best friends Frank and Charles. I believe it is quite ironic that Frank is in fact Jewish and will later be sent to a concentration camp, yes it was there where I picked up his soul. They are all very mischievous but all are the most caring people one will ever meet. They may come in like a lion but they leave as a lamb.
"Hey Hansi!" yells Charles "What do you think of that beauty over there?" He pointed to a fair girl maybe seventeen with a yellow dress and pink hat. Hans of course noticed her good looks but he was not the man to stare, also he knew Charles only pointed her out because he was the only one without a girlfriend. His last girlfriend and him left off as friends but thought it best to see more of other people and less of each other.
It's a shame Hans is such a romantic, he loves to read and write poetry, but that is exactly what brought the impending split. You see, Hans would write this poor girl poems everyday and if he couldn't see her he would send it in the mail. It wasn't that the poems were not good, as a matter of fact they were legendary but it was a little unnerving to find a letter addressed to you every single day.
Back to the market and the girl, no it's not Rosa, not yet, follow me she should be here somewhere.
