This is my first poem so don't hate me.
Do Not Hate Me For Being Me
Do not hate me for doing what I please,
hate me for not wanting to do the deed.
I do not care much for jewels that are rare,
to tell you the truth, I would rather sit back and eat a pear.
Running, shouting, not a care in the world,
now that something way better than a pearl.
Do not hate me for being a leader,
hate me for not being a follower.
I do what feel right for me.
But you cannot seem to see,
that I am like a light breeze.
I just go with the flow,
it does not matter were we go.
Do not hate me being myself,
hate me for have the wealth.
I do not mean about the money,
or if the day will be sunny.
I am talking about my friend and family that are dear to me.
You may have chosen to be with kikyo,
but in the end, I ended up with so much more.
Faster and faster,
there is nothing that I can't master.
I have grown more than you seem to see,
is that why you didn't choose me?
Why can't you understand,
that my confidence is in demand.
Do not hate me,
Now I am more than the plain old Kagome that you have come to know.
