Disclaimer: I own none of these characters, except Melody. She's all mine! Okay, carry on!
I no longer refer to it as the capturing, or the night he came, as I used to long ago. It is simply, the night. You would think that after so many years, the memory would cloud some, or maybe I'd lose a patch of it or too, but it's like a piece of me. And no matter how I try, I can't let it go. So I'm telling you now, in hopes it may lift from me and disappear. 'Tis to heavy of a burden for anyone to carry…
Standing outside the house earlier that night, you would have never known what would happen in only a few hours. An enchanted, greenish fire crackling, the melody of a haunting piece playing from some unseen object, and the sound of babies gurgling would be all you would have heard. Inside, Melody and Harry Potter sit on the rug, playing with some blocks that build themselves up into a castle, then let them have the fun of knocking them down.
Harry, of course, looked like James, with his messy black hair and green eyes, while already at a young age, Melody looked like me, with her sea greenish, large eyes, but had the mix of the both of us with her almost brunette, wavy hair.. The only noticeable features they shared were their height and face shape: On the shortish side, with a round face, but highlighted features. Yet if you looked closely, you could notice they had the same, bottomless eyes, with the mischievous glint; probably from my side of the family.
Reports had come in about various attacks throughout the town from Lord Voldemort- James wasn't worried, though, he was sure Peter wouldn't tell. I watched him almost enviously, wishing I could be that assured as he played with the twins calmly. As I left to cook dinner and he left for a moment to grab something from the twins room, it happened. With an unneeded knock followed by the breaking down the door, the Lord himself entered. James heard him and ran to tried to stop him while I grabbed Melody and Harry. I quickly put a spell on Harry, but Melody had wandered out of sight. Stepping out of my hiding spot to find Melody, I spotted James on the floor. Too astonished to move, Voldemort picked up an innocent crawling Melody, and casted the Avada Kedavra on me. With a cruel laugh, he left, leaving Harry in the rubble and Melody in his arms.
Now that you know what really happened, spread it around, the famous Harry Potter is not the only survivor of the evil Lord… Remember Melody…
(Okay, I have a second story, the story of Mel. Soooo, sorry about the stupid ending, it's late and I want to start on the second one!!!!!)
