Voldemort's Plea (Singin' for Servants)
A/N: This is the first thing I've posted for Fanfiction.net
since I got my new account. It's a parody of "Prayin' for Daylight" by Rascal
Flats. It's supposed to be country, that's why all the gs are
dropped. It's set sometime during the
third book, when Harry was worrying about Sirius trying to kill him. Here's
what Voldemort was doing with all this free time.
All of my strength is out,
My lair is locked, the Muggle TV's on.
Doin', the only thing that gets me through the years Since
power's gone.
Singin' for servants, waitin' for that faithful one,
So I can go out and start killing Lily's son.
D.E.'s come back to me, I swear I'll pay ya right.
Don't make me spend another helpless night,
Singin' for Servants.
Singin' for Servants.
I made a bad miscalculation
When I tried to kill Harry,
But if your getting' on with you "good" life then what's the
good for me?
Singin' for servants,
Waiting for that faithful one.
So I can go out and start killing Lily's son.
D.E.'s come back to me,
I swear I'll pay ya right.
Don't make me spend another helpless night,
Singin' for Servants.
Singin' for Servants.
Singin' for servants….
You're thinkin' I've been out for way too long,
And that Muggle-lover's side is one that's strong.
Deep in your "heart" you know,
That you'll need me as much as I need you.
(You know you'll need me, guys!)
And when my powers back you'll be sayin',
"There was nothin' I could do!"
Singin' for servants,
Waiting for that faithful one.
So I can go out and start killing Lily's son.
D.E.'s come back to me,
I swear I'll pay ya right.
Don't make me spend another helpless night,
Singin' for Servants.
Singin' for Servants.
