Tears flowed silently, swiftly as she looked down at the cold, grey stone that reflected the light of the moon long
enough for the silver letters engraved to flash its message,"Cedric Diggory. Remembered In Love," across her minds
eye. He'd been buried only a few days ago. . .but she remembered it so clearly. The deep hole in Godric Hollow's
grave yard. . .dirt on the coffin.. .. .
Tears trailed slowly down her face, like the silent, soft trickle of a brook. ..Her robes rustled softly as she bent down
and gently placed flowers on the fresh grave, her dark hair falling about her like a conceiling veil. Dark almond eyes
scanned the stone again desperately, not wanting to believe that it was the end. .. .
The end of so many wonderful things. .. The gentleness of his voice when he spoke to her. . the laughter in his eyes
when he was enjoying time with his friends, with her. . .The feel of his hand as he held hers. . That soft voice he
reserved only for her. ..
Choking back a sob she threw herself to her knees beside the grave and let the tears fall more rapidly, more like a
rushing river now. After a moment, she cast those dark eyes once again to the gravestone and slowly reached out a
delicate hand to run a gentle finger across the cold-edged,silver words. Why did it have to be so cold. . .?
As she cried, she traced the letters almost desperately.
"Cedric. . .I wish. . ."she paused as she drew her hand back and held it close to her heart.
"I wish I could keep you here. . .forever. . .in my heart."
As she whispered these words, the clouds that had now covered the moon once more broke open, and as the
moonlight cascaded down on her, washing her in the moons silvery pearlescent tears, she stood and looked up to the
moon,revealing her tear-stained face.
""You can hear me Cedric. . .I know you can. . ."she whispered. In return, the wind rushed past her in a gentle
breeze, whipping her hair about her face, framing it,giving her an innocent, angelic look. As she turned from the
grave, with a lingering last look, she could hear upon the wind a calming voice, kissing away her hearts tears and
comforting her soul while in its sorrow. . .
"I'll keep you,Cho. . .forever."

Author's Note: Usually I don't do short stories like these, but the more I thought about Cedric and Cho,
the more I realized how desperately tragic it was that Cedric was killed. . .I was inspired to write a piece-
and I hope it turns out as well as I wanted it too. R&R and please tell me what you think!
BTW. . .For my ~*~Weight of the World*~* Fic. . .It'll be August first before I can start on it again because I'm leaving
for the Bahama's soon! Please R&R!
