I am so glad that we found Cassie and Casandra. I've been dating Cassie for one year now. I'm a christian now because of her teaching me. I didn't think it was possible but she's really changed me. I'm actually more mature now. She's made my whole life better. But there is something that I've wanted to ask her but don't know how.
"Hey Adam. You doing anything tomorrow?" Cassie asked me as she came in the room. I quickly turned around. "Doing anything? Why would I be doing anything. I'm not going on a date with someone else. There isn't anyone else," I said quickly. She just smiled and laughed. "No Adam, I don't mean that. I mean do you want to hang out anytime tomorrow? I mean if you aren't too busy like with mentoring," she said. I sighed with relief. "Okay. Yeah sure, I'm not really that busy anyway now with Leo being a mentor.
"Okay great. See you in class," Cassie said. I smiled. Maybe tomorrow I can pop the question. Oh who am I kidding I'm not ready for this!
-Time skip next day-
I was doing my best to get myself ready. Since I was going to do this I mean ask her today, I want to look my very best. *sighs heavily* I can do this! I am Adam Davenport! I can do this! But if I mess this up... UGH! Why is it so hard? Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I ran to it.
"Hey Adam, are you ready to go?" Cassie asked. I was starstruck. She was so beautiful! She had on a bright teal short dress on and an emerald necklace on and she was wearing green shoes on. I probably looked like an idiot, well more of an idiot than I usually do.
"Uhh, you look beautiful Cassie. Yeah, I'm ready," I said. She smiled. "Great! Come on, I have a place. I'm driving!" she said. I sighed. "Aww you always get to drive," I complained. She smirked.
"Well that's because the last time you drove, we got a ticket. You're not the best driver," she said. I smiled big. "You so get me." She laughed. We soon arrived at the restaurant which was Italian. Which means lasagna! We got our table and ordered our food. It was silent for a little while then I decided to speak. "So Cassie, do you want to go to the park after we're done here?" That was where I was going to ask. She smiled.
"Of course Adam. I would love to," she answered. We continued to eat our food and talked a little more and afterwards, I drove us to the park. We went for a walk and again were silent. We sat down on a bench and looked up at the stars filling the sky. It looks like there's a 50 hundred million out there!
"It's beautiful tonight isn't it?" Cassie asked. I nodded and put my hand on top of her's. I could tell that she was blushing in the darkness. Then I couldn't wait any longer. I got on the ground and kneeled in front of her. "Adam what are you doing?" she asked surprised by my sudden action. I pulled a small box out of my back pocket and opened it to reveal a ring.
"Cassie, I know we've only been together for a year, but would you make me the happiest man alive and become my wife?" I asked quickly. She laughed not that she thought it was funny, but out of happiness. "Yes! Oh yes Adam! I will!" She stood up as did I. She wrapped her arms around my neck and we kissed. It felt like eternity. Cassie would be my wife. This was the best day of my life.
