His not father kicked the shit out him daily over any tiny excuse and spoke words soaked with negative criticism, implying he just wasn't good enough…and he toughened up, learned from it, and became a stronger man. He owed this man his life.

His not father laughed more than spoke and always gave him words beaming with pride and support. He only hit the boy once but it was filled with anger and disappointment that cut him down to his very core more than a thousand beatings ever could…and he wised up, faced his regret, and held the lesson always in his mind to become a stronger man. He cost this man his life.

They are both craftsman…arguably the very best at what they do and hold the values of their respective arts in the highest esteem.

That one is overdressed. That other one way under.

That one has a soft peach fuzz of scruff on the chin. That other one has a nose of steel.

That ones hair is defies gravity as he bends under the table to retrieve a roll that had fallen to the floor, somehow blond hair staying firmly in place over his left eye in stark contradiction to the actual physics of the movement. The other ones bright blue hair is sticking nearly straight up before curving back above his head in a completely different gravity defying way.

The group of pirates with these two do not seem to notice these things and the attractive waitress may not know all of it but she thinks they must be brothers in spirit if in nothing else.

The look in their eyes are the same as she bends over to refill the groups drinks, letting her cleavage slip just enough to ensure these two at least would tip her generously. She is not at surprised at all when they do and that one is promising her a romantic heavenly date while the other one is promising to do things that seem as hot and as crude as anything hell could provide.

She also isn't surprised when they are both are pulled from the bar before it can go any farther than that by their female companions. From the shared look in the brothers eyes they are going home empty handed again tonight…from the look in the womens eyes that wouldn't be the case for long.
