Lovely Afternoon
He watched as Catherine tried to get some housework done.
She had just gotten two week old Olivia to sleep after a rather hectic morning and now she was doing some laundry.
Warrick elected to do the dishes because Catherine had expressed in many words and tears that she was tired of washing dishes after every meal. So, he took on that responsibility and all Lindsay had to do was make sure she looked after her own messes.
When he was finished with that task, he checked up on his baby girl. She was no longer asleep because her eyes were wide open. She always did that when she heard him come in to her nursery. Catherine expressed a little jealousy over that because she stopped crying when daddy was around. He leaned down and kissed Olivia?s tiny cheek as she fell back asleep before leaving the nursery.
Catherine was in the guest bedroom putting on a new comforter for the holidays that she had just washed. She gasped in surprise when Warrick embraced her from behind and began to kiss her neck.
"Rick, what are you-?"
She was interrupted by a kiss when she turned around.
After her initial surprise, she melted into his arms and his kiss as he lowered her onto the newly made bed. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him with passion. Her swollen bosom released her breast milk as he caressed her skin under her shirt, igniting ecstasy and arousal within her.
Warrick noticed that her abdomen was still deflating after giving birth to Olivia. They couldn?t make love for another month or so until Catherine was completely healed and healthy again. But he still kissed her and lavished her body as he took off her soiled shirt and tangled his fingers in her longer, silkier hair.
Catherine thought back to when she was giving birth to Olivia and how Warrick was there every step of the way, helping her through the pain, telling her how beautiful the baby was and how much he loved her. She kissed him deeper one last time before pulling away, catching her breath.
"I love you," Warrick whispered. "I love you so much. Thank you."
"For what?" she whispered.
"For Olivia, for Lindsay," he whispered. "For your love."
Catherine began to weep and she kissed him again as the afternoon sun filled the dim room with brightness.
