My mind fell into stasis.
I just couldn't believe what I'd just seen. I didn't want to believe it. No. Not at all.
Reality reared its head.
Watari had died.
The man who had taken me in. The man who provided me with food, warmth and shelter, who brought me up and raised me as if I were his very own child.
He couldn't die. Not now. Not ever.
Agony stabbed my heart; Kira had finally managed to claim my life. I knew it. Strangely, however, I didn't feel like I was dying.
With Watari gone, I felt dead already.
Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed it, and you have my apologies if you did not enjoy it. :)
Music inspiration: The Pink Fields by Feint (ft. Doxx). I'm not sure how it prompted me to write this.
Title inspired by RaitoLawliet's An Act Of Procrastination, which I need to get to reviewing soon!
