Ok, I just feel a little depressed after reading sad fanfics. So I decided to make you all depressed aren't I nice! Anyway here it is.
Her golden locks were covered in dirt and blood. Her face was scratched and slightly bruised, and in the corners of her mouth you could see the blood she had been coughing up a second ago. Yet she still stood, proud and tall facing the enemy responsible for destroying the guild. She looked around at the battle field before her. What she saw scared her, some of her comrades looked dead but were barley berthing, others were passed out from lack of magic or injuries, and most people were in terrible condition and could not fight. She stood alone. Looking at the single wizard responsible for such damage. The dark wizard Zach. One of Zeref's disciples. He just stood there laughing at their pain. This pisses Lucy off. But before she moved she saw fire fly pass her.
"Fire dragon's Iron fist!" Bit as soon as he hit the person, a black light surrounded him. He was blown back 3 miles.
"Natsu!" She heard a loud noise when he landed. This was the last straw. She didn't care anymore what the consequences were. All she cared about was her nakama. She slowly stumbled toward the man. She touched his face. Another black light happened but this time around the man and Lucy. She was blow back father then Natsu. She landed on rocks that made her bleed even more. When she slowly lifted her head to see that where the man once stood, all that was left was a cloud of smoke. Lucy looked at her hand. It was black and it felt decayed. The feeling slowly spread around her body. She heard footsteps, but didn't have the energy to check who it was. She knew she was slowly dying on the closed her eyes for what she thought was the final time. Only to open them to a worried Team Natsu around her. She decided to tell them now.
"Guys-" she spoke but was soon cutoff by Erza.
"Lucy please don't talk. Save your energy."
"No, I have to tell you this." She looked at Erza who understood Lucy and let her speak. "Minna, I just want you all to know that I'll miss you, that I love you all, that you were like a true family..." Her voice was getting softer, her breathing was becoming shallow, and her eyes were losing their light.
"Wendy!" Gray shouted and got up to find the healer. Erza left to go help. Happy and Natsu were the only ones left with Lucy. Natsu picked her up and placed her in his lap. "I won't let you go Luce."
"That's funny Natsu I was just about to tell you something like that. I want you to tell everyone to miss me but let me go, to cry for me but also smile, to say goodbye to me but always look for me. Natsu..." Her voice was shrinking "I love you..." She said so softly he could barely hear her. He looked at her with eyes filled with sadness. And just before she left this world she heard him mutter "I love you too." She smiled at him for one last time. When Wendy arrived the pink haired man was angrily sobbing. Everyone else their cried too. But soon the stopped and got up when Natsu told the Lucy's wishes. The next day they found out that Lucy was the only one to die from the attack. They held a funeral for the Stellar Mage the day after that. Everyone cried, but when there was silence for a minute everyone swore they heard wings and felt her bright smile on them. Then Natsu looked up and saw rays of sun that looked Lucy's golden locks. "I'll miss you Luce but I'll let you go." He whispered and he swear he heard the wind reply saying "Thank you Natsu, just remember I'll always love you."
"Thank you Luce." Be said smiling his toothy grin. She couldn't help but smile back.
