The wind whistled past my window. It ruffled the curtains, my covers blew off my pale body. My eyes flew open. I swung my feet over the bed, anxious to close the window, as I rushed over to it I saw a dark figure looking back in at me. His dark face smiled at me and that instant I knew who he was. "Harry?" I whispered, already knowing it was him, a small tear falling from my eye and rolling softly down my cheek. He nodded and entered the room gently holding my hand in his so we were only inches apart.
"I thought you were dead," I muttered softly as a second tear rolled down my face, then a third.
"But I'm here aren't I?" Harry responded.
"Yes, yes you are. But…I thought he had killed you…I was there…I saw you die!" I looked down at the ground obviously ashamed of what I said.
"I know, but you saved me, Mary, you saved me, when you aimed that curse at your father, it hit me instead, so instead of dying, he thought he had killed me and you thought I was dead…but I was alive…you saved my life." He leaned in a kissed me, he lips touching mine once more after so many months of loneliness. I wonder, if my father, Voldemort, is still alive. I shuddered at the though I hoped he was not, that would just bring hell on Harry Potter and myself.
I gently pulled back from the kiss, "Mary," He cooed softly, "I have wanted to ask you this for a long time…Mary," He knelt down on one knee looking up at me. "Mary Tac, Princess of the Dark Lights and best witch of your age, although you are 6 years younger than myself and you are young for this but my heart yearns for your….will you marry me?" His gaze fell into mine, slowly.
"Harry, I am but 11…and you are 17, but…I think…yes…I shall," I pulled him up to his full height, "because my heart yearns for yours as well."
He wrapped my in a warm embrace, him standing about a foot taller than me but what did that matter. Just then, the door creaked open, and another figure with long red hair entered the house.
"Harry?" Her voice whispered. It was Ginny Weasley, "Harry…who is that?" She pointed a boney finger at me.
"Ginny, this Mary, my fiancée." Harry said softly. Ginny let out a laugh.
"Fiancée! Harry you have got to be kidding! Her! Such a young girl!" Ginny yelled.
"Ginny calm down!" Harry told her sternly.
"First my best friend dies, then my brother goes missing and now the man I love and have been searching for, for months is going to be married to a-a-a kid!" Ginny was screaming at him now. She withdrew her wand, her breathing heavy.
"Stop, don't!" I said in a soft voice.
"Wait a minute! I know who you are! Your he-who-must-not-be-named's daughter!" She yelled.
"Yes, to my dismay, but you can trust me." I gave her a smile.
"I can't but if Harry wants to then fine!" She stormed out of the room. Harry hugged me and once more we kissed.
