Now, if these two were anyone else in the world, this would be where all the gushy love stuff would come in. The kissing, the fireworks, the butterflies, and all that junk. But these two were not just anyone.
These two were Natsu and Lucy.
And because of that; all that gushy love stuff couldn't happen.
So he said it.
Those four words that would continue to break the both of them.
"What are friends for."
Then released her.
She watched from her doorstep as he disappeared.
But we aren't just friends.
And you know that.

hello! i've gotten a lot of feedback (and 12 favorites!) on the one shot i posted a few days ago. so thank you guys for that!
anyways, i'm going to try to make this story long. i know this wasn't much but it is a prologue after all. so i hope you all enjoy this! this is the start of a looooong journey, i'm so excited!!!
