Okay this is timelordsapprentice yeah I'm actually as surprized as you all that I'm writing another story. I probably wont continue this unless people review and tell me to, i don't have a set number of reviews but I'll let you know if i decide to continue this. It's acctually kinda grim soooo i don't know why this popped into my head, i wrote it in like 10 minuets. So read on and review if you like it review if you don't like it just give me some input, please?

The Slender Man, some people have heard of him some haven't. He is said to stalk people, he establishes a mental link causing paranoia and personality changes, in the lucky ones. The unlucky ones die at the horrible long spindly hands of the Slender Man. People that live describe him wearing a suit and having inhuman proportions. Hands that reach all the way to the ground, 8 feet tall and very thin with tentacles on his back. The worst thing though is his face which is blank, no eyes, nose, mouth, all covered in pale flesh. Many people don't believe in him, they're idiots, he's real. There are many contrivances on where he came from, almost all of them wrong. He was in fact a person at one time but he died a horrible death, no one knows how and when though. He used to wander the Ghost Zone in despair and anger, but he has come back to Earth for his revenge on the living.

"Clockwork! The future is terribly wrong! So many deaths, someone must stop it, the horrible creäture Slender Man! He is killing innocent humans!" cried an Observant as he appeared in Clockwork's Tower.

"Yes, I see and who is that someone you were talking about, certainly not an observant like yourself. As I remember you said that you only watch not interfere. So who is going to be sent to stop that monster?"

"The Ghost Boy, Danny Phantom." Replied the lone Observant

"As I recall the Observants don't like Danny Phantom you find that he should still be destroyed….Oh I see now." Clockwork chuckled grimly, "You want to send him because you don't think he will succeed, you think the Slender Man will kill him so you won't have to and It won't look like murder."

"So who do you want to send." Said the Observant in a voice laced with sarcasm.

"No I agree with you we should send the Ghost Boy but I am very confident that he will succeed."

"Very well, contact him and tell him his mission. I doubt he will be happy." Even though Observants don't have mouths Clockwork could hear the smirk in his voice.
