This is a romantic poem written from the perspective of Ryoko, after having been assimilated with Zero, and a day she spends with Tenchi and the love they share. I am a sucker for Tenchi /Ryoko romances.
The Cherry blossom Tree

Under the cheery blossom tree do we stand. Under a setting sun do we stand.
The blossoms fall within the breeze and land upon my face as gentle as a lover's touch.
In your deep brown eyes I loose myself for in your eyes I see my love.
You wrap your arms around me, protecting me from the cold, always are you protecting me.
Your embrace is warm and comforting in a way I never thought, never knew I could feel.
A sigh escapes my lips, a sigh of bliss. If only we could stay here, if only the sun would not set.
But the sun is setting and we must return home, our day in the sun now is done, for now we must go.
At the door do we stand now, under a bright full moon.
Your You lean towards me, then I feel the touch of your lips to mine.
Our First Kiss, my first love.
Are lips become one, our souls become one, for that moment for that precious, precious moment.
I step onside the brightly lit house, our day in the sun now is done.
I step inside as you slowly whisper in my ear "I love you." as you shut the door.
In my bed I lay awake smile upon my face. There will be more days for us in the sun.
More days for us under the cherry blooms tree.
As I fade in to sleep only one thing I dare say, "I love you too Tenchi."
As sleep now carries to the land of my dreams with my love.
