Greetings all, welcome to my FanFiction following the story of Lucy Potter. In this AU Lilly and James Potter never died, but Harry is still the boy who lived. This will not be explained in the beginning as it will be pieces together as the story progresses on how this was achieved.
This story will get darker the further it goes into each school year, just a warning for some people and why the story is rated the way it is. But of course, this is the beginning of the story so get ready for young and somewhat innocent adventures with familiar faces and some new ones of my creation. The story will follow roughly the book one, but there will be all new plot lines and factions of my own creation. Some may be mentioned early in the story but most wont appear till a little later.
Of course this story is about Lucy and growing up as the boy who lived sister, she will be sorted into Slytherin and will have to find how it affects her, will she stay the same old studious and simple Lucy, or will certain darker and lighter forces try to use her to join their side, and what side will she choose?
Of course you'll learn more the more I publish so I wish you well fair reader! Pls enjoy the story.

"Lucy get up! It's time to go to Diagon Alley!"
Lucy groaned as she slowly lifted her head and rubbed her eyes. She hated when her brother interrupted her sleep, especially on the weekend.
She knew it was an important day, but her sleep to her was just as important. "Just five more minut..."
WHAM*
Lucy jumped in her bed as she looked up to see her door had been banged open by her dumb brother. He was smiling his same goofy smile he always did under his dark mess of hair.
"Come on already sis, mum's already got breakfast almost made!" Harry yelled at Lucy with a wide grin still on his face.
Lucy grabbed the book sitting on the edge of her bed and aimed for his head. Luckily for Harry he was used to this and doged her attempt.
"Better luck next time sis, if your not down in five minutes I'll personally come and drag you down!" He shouted over his shoulder as he ran out of the room.
After a few seconded passed Lucy grabbed her pillow and let out a weak yell into it as she started to get out of bed. "Honestly he's such a pain." She let slip out under her breath while taking off her night robes.
Her brother Harry was very dear to her, she just couldn't stand him sometimes, especially with all the attention he got for being the "Boy who Lived."
Lucy hated that being the thing most commonly attached to the Potter name. She understood that her brother by somehow defeating you know who was a hero and she didn't deny that. But anytime she had ever met someone that's all they ever wanted to talk about.
Still, she couldn't ask for a better brother or family, she loved her mother and father deeply and always tried her best to make them proud.
Lucy walked over to where her book was and put it back in one of many bookshelf's lining her room. Reading and studying were one of Lucy's favorite activities, which pleased her mother very much.
Lucy made sure to make a menatal note to put it back in its proper place later before heading to her closet. Opening the door she stepped into the the square shaped room looking for the proper outfit.
Lucy had mainly traditional witch robes and other traditional wear. Even though her mother was muggle born she loved how Lucy dressed calling her many times a "proper lady."
Shopping for robes was one of Lucy's and her mother's favorite activities as they got away from the boys of the house.
Lucy finally found a nice darker blue robe to put over her black under clothing and walked over to the mirror to see how everything fitted.
She looked at herself in the mirror and gave a smile of satisfaction. Lucy herself was pale with what little sunlight she got from reading and staying inside all the time. Her green eyes, the same as her mothers, were bright and full of life, and her black hair came down just to her shoulders if not a bit past.
Lucy was very thankful that she wasn't cursed like her brother and father with their untamable hair. Her hair was more like her mother's beside the color.
Lucy could hear what sounded like Harry running back up the stairs to come bother her. She let out a long sigh and slowly went over to the door.
She waited until she could hear him right outside and promptly opened the door into his face.
Lucy laughed a bit as she watched him tumble over and rub the top of his messy head for a second.
Feeling slightly sorry for what she did she decided to reach out a hand to help him. Harry took a second before he noticed and gave her his signature dumb grin.
"You think I'm gonna take your hand you old lady, where those clothes from, the cemetery?" He taunted while pushing himself up alone.
"Better get used to wearing robes, it's what we'll wear during our time at Hogwarts Harry." Lucy said holding her head up high with her arms crossed. "Besides I can't help that I appreciate looking nice wherever I go."
"Ppppfffff, yeah nice, maybe to a pureblood, but to everyone else..." Harry didn't get to finish his sentence as Lucy wacked him on the back of the head.
"Please brother of mine, you have more of a title to uphold than me, you need to learn how to act once we get to Hogwarts." Lucy stated while slowly walking down the stairs.
She could hear her brother slowly chatchig up to her from behind as they both walked downstairs to greet the day.
As soon as Lucy reached the bottom she saw her lovely mother laying out food on the table, while also using magic to make the silverware set itself from the drawer to the table.
Once the two made eye contact her mother gave a smile almost as warm as her hair. "Look at my beautiful daughter, all dressed up for the day as usual." her mother said while coming to give her a warm hug.
It was her mother's affection that Lucy lived for and she welcomed the warm embrace of her mother. Her mom smelled like freshly picked flowers just as usual. When Lucy was young she had bought her mom a bottle of perfume, ever since it's was the only kind her mother ever wore.
The two eventually stopped their embrace, much to the delight of Harry who was trying to make his way through. Lucy found her usual spot on the table next to her brother and began to make her plate.
While she was pilling eggs onto her plate she could her a racket coming from upstairs. Lucy already knew it was her father, as he always got out of bed roughly in the morning just like her.
"Sounds like your father has finally awaken, James dear! Do you need any help?" her mother yelled while looking slightly up the stairs.
Lucy heard her fathers usaul muffled reply of "no dear" and knew he was alright. Lucy knew it wouldn't be long till he joined as he had work today and needed to leave soon. She knew her father was an Auror, but it still hurt that he wouldn't be able to come with them today.
"Mother, while were at Diagon Alley can we please go to the broom shop?" Lucy heard her brother ask in a pleading voice. Lucy had heard him ask this every time they went to Diagon Alley, and the answer was always the same.
"Harry, you know the rules, you can't even be on the quidditch team until your a second year, plus first years are not allowed to have brooms." Her mother said with a condescending look to her brother.
Lucy smiled slightly to herself before asking, "Mom, while getting books, could I possibly look for any more to add to my collection on potions, the last one I read has a follow up written on it, and I would love to read it."
"Why of course Lucy dear, Harry why can't you be like your sister and be academic instead of being obsessed with those brooms." Her mother responded.
"That's because he's got too much of me in him Lilly dear." Lucy followed the voice and saw her father emerge down the stairs dressed up for his day at work in his uniform.
"And I didn't end up too bad did I honey?" Her father added with a smile pulling in her mother for a kiss.
Lucy and Harry both made gagging gestures to eachother which their parents only rolled their eyes to.
"Well, look at this lovely meal, I'm afraid I'll have to take some to go dear, I am running awfully late." Her father said while waving his wand causing some food to fly off the table into a small container he had picked up.
"Of course dear, do have a lovely day at work." Her mother said as she went back towards the kitchen. Lucy watched as her father turned to look down at the two of them with a small smile.
"You make sure not to drive your mother crazy, especially you Harry." He added that last part with a wink before going to give each of them a kiss on the top of the head.
"Oh, and Harry, don't worry, one day you'll get to go in the broom shop." He added with a laugh before heading out.
"Yeah right, at this point I'll never make it in their, Harry said with a small pout, causing Lucy to laugh.
The rest of breakfast went by with little interruptions. Lilly soon came back in to eat with them while Lucy read over a small book while eating.
Once Lucy had finished eating she went to wash her plates when she heard her mom talk about getting the fireplace ready to floo to Diagon Alley.
She heard her brother groan at this, every time the family used the floo to go somewhere he always got sick. Lucy just simply rolled her eyes and continued on with cleaning.
The window to outside was open and she could see outside into the grassy lands outside. She smiled as she appreciated the beauty of where their house was. The potters didn't own a mansion like the rich pure blood families, but they did own a nice three story house with a little piece of country side to go with it.
Her father being an auror and having the wealth left over from his family helped tremendously. But her mother also after the war had gotten involved in the potions business. She started selling them under the name "Lilly's every day Remedies."
Her mother didn't make too advanced potions, even though she had the skill to do it. Instead she sold simple beauty potions, energy potions, and other such everyday brews that could help anyone.
Her potions made to help with beauty and care were popular actually among many of the rich pureblood woman. They had first not bought any of the products because of who owned the company. But eventually they gave up because they couldn't argue with the quality.
Her mom had her normal potions she sold made by people she hired, but she also had the more expensive ones made by her specially. It was quite amusing when the minister of magic had ordered some potions for his wife's birthday and had come over in person to pick them up, and say hi to the family.
Lucy was suddenly snapped out of her thoughts as she heard a whisper come through the window.
"Speaker, is that you?"
Lucy smiled as she already knew who it was, she peered over the window to see that a few snakes had gathered at the base of the house outside the window.
"Hello little guys, and girls, my families in the other room I can't talk right now. But may I say your all looking quite pretty today." Lucy spoke in perfect parsletounge.
The snakes all rose their heads slightly to look at her before bowing their heads and slowly slithering away.
Lucy had been able to talk to snakes as long as she could remember. She was lucky that before she could mention it to her family, she had read in a book on how it was considered a dark ability. So none of her family had any idea about it.
Anytime she would talk to them she would have to check over her should twice just to make sure she was alone. She could only imagine her brothers reaction if he ever found out.
"Lucy! We're ready to head out! Come on sweetie!" Lucy heard her mother call from the other room. She quickly proceeded to finish the dish she was on and headed out towards the main hall...
