The begging of a new life

There was a sound of running footsteps coming from the hallway as Talho screams out in excitement "Holland!"

Holland heard Talho and shouted back in confusion and worry from Eureka's room as his voice echoes down the hallways"Talho what's wrong?"

Talho went to every room looking for Holland, running and opening every door she goes pass "Holland where are you?"

As she was just a few doors away from Eureka's room Holland answered slightly annoyed from being yelled across the whole ship "I am busy with Eureka".

As Holland replied, Talho finally got to Eureka's room was ready to knock on Eureka's door but after hearing he was once again busy with his other "princess" she took a step back and brought her hands to her chest and "Oh well... I will tell you later then" The door opened as Talho walked away Holland peeked through to talk to Talho. But it was to late, he saw that Talho was already on her way down the hallway with a mood. Holland softly whispered very curiously" Oh okay?"

Talho walked to the medical room, Mischa opened the door and let Talho in. " Come lie down Talho, I will check for you to confirm." Talho smiled and calmly laid down facing upwards, looking quite hopeful but also abit sad. " Thanks Mischa, I just wanted to be sure."

"Is Holland not coming?" Mischa asked as she grabs a scanner and types a few buttons on her keyboard.

"No~ He is too busy with Eu. re. ka." Talho says in an annoyed tone.

"Pity, but then again Eureka has been abit off lately. Perhaps he is just making sure that she didn't get the Flu that Matthieu infected the crew with. I mean seriously, I have better things to do than spend 3 days checking up on everyone every 2 hours to assure that the flu is gone. I am just glad that Hilda convinced him to take that shot already."

Talho giggles as cold gel touches her. "Well at least not everyone got hit. But, boy does Renton regret hanging out with Matthieu during that time. Both those idoits got so sick I swear they moved into the medical room. Eureka was so worried." Talho smiles at the thought. " I am just glad that Holland is no longer so possessive over her now that Renton is around constantly reminding us that Eureka is his."

"It did take a while for Holland to get over that jealousy." Mischa nodded and placed the scanner down and went to her laptop.

"Yeah well, I am just glad that Holland has gotten over himself and decided to give me some attention instead." Talho laughs slightly. " That idiot took forever to realize I was throwing moods around purely because I wanted his attention."

"Well then I guess you both are idiots then" Mischa says ironically as she turns the screen over.

" Yeah I guess so hey?" Talho smiles. She then sits up and looks over at the screen.

"Your in perfect good condition, and it is 100% confirmed. You are very healthy but might need to low a bit down with the burger dates."Micsha said with a caring tone in her voice and a large smile on her face.

Talho leaned forward and smiled "Oh good. " she felt relieved, pulling down her shirt, she got off the bed and was just about to thank Mischa but Holland came in and looked curiously at Talho"What are you doing here Talho, another check up?"

Holland waited patiently in front of the door blocking her way out. Talho knew she had to say something to get him out of the way,"Oh um... I just...um I just thought I had to see if I am fine... you know from the flu and all... Anyway what are you doing here Holland?" she said quickly changing the subject

Holland looked at Eureka and placed his hand on her head"I am getting Eureka some pills she's not feeling to good right now"

"Oh ok well... I have to go...Thanks Mischa"Talho said looking at Mischa and ignoring the questioning look on Hollands face. Mischa smiled and said "Now be careful okay?" Winks at Talho.

Talho smiled "Yes I will be. No more burger dates."she giggled as she spoke and left. Holland became a bit confused "Mischa why did Talho come here?

Misha answered Holland in her usual professional tone."She said that she wants to tell you and I would like to avoid Talho's disappointment if I did." Holland thought to himself "Is that why she was looking for me earlier?"

"Um Mischa I would like my pills now please."Eureka said in her soft tone

Holland snapped out of his thoughts and back to Eureka who reminded him why he was really here "I almost forgot, sorry Eureka, get your pills I need to go check on Talho."

"Okay Holland Bye" Eureka hugged him then Holland walked out of the medical room and hurried to his room. As he reached the door he could hear Talho rustling around, looking for something. He quietly walked in and saw Talho on the floor, throwing things out of her closet.

"Where is it,where is it!?" still throwing things around, Holland gazed at her, thinking how all to normal this is for Talho to be rummaging through her closet to just find a simple thing. He giggled as he asked "What are you looking for"

Talho got a fright and quickly turned facing him and answered "Nothing,really" she stood up and looked down at the mess she made.

Holland placed his hand on her shoulder "Talho please tell me, what is going on with you today?"

But before Talho could open her mouth, Matthieu walked in, "Leader you are needed on the bridge".Holland turned around facing Matthieu with slight annoyance. With a groan he told Matthieu that he is on his way and then faced Talho apologetically. "Okay, Talho you can tell me later. But then there is no getting out of it." He gave her a kiss then walked out pretty annoyed.

Talho signed in relieve "OK"

On the bridge

"Oh great another one"Holland said as he flopped down on his seat looking bothered.

"There is another sky fish taken into the Shourize, so there will be a small trapper wave coming our way. But if we don't get out of this area it will get worse. This Shourize does look pretty bothered." Then suddenly a trapper wave bursts through, pushing the ship slightly causing Renton and Eureka to grab hold of the rails on the top floor. They both asked "What's a shourize Holland?"

Holland looked back at them, unfazed by the situation " A shourize is a cloud which catches sky fish and uses the sky fish to make a shield, it then uses what is left and pushes out large blasts of trapper waves to push away anything it feels is a threat."

Eureka asked to see if she understands the situation"So its just a cloud protected by a round shield to protect itself using the sky fish?"

Holland lighted his cigar, wandering why he was called to the bridge for something so simple."yup so it won't be harmed by whatever is pissing it off now."

"Okay, but then why does it have a shield and what could harm it?" Eureka asked still a bit confused .

"You know the army that kept Anemone, they want to try and harvest these clouds and the sky fish within it." Holland said and stood up from his chair.

"but Holland why would anyone want to harvest a cloud?"Renton asked then held Eureka's hand

"Because Renton, it is believed by the voderact that if you pray to one of these it will bring you good luck and good health, but there are those that wish to harvest it, believing that it is the gas and organisms inside the cloud that holds medical substances to help heal." Holland yawed a bit.

Eureka and Renton both replied "Ohhh~"

Then Talho walked in "This one is much prettier then the one I saw yesterday"

"Um but Mrs Talho I don't remember seeing one yesterday." Eureka said as Talho was walking down the stairs to Holland

"No I mean I saw it on the tv there was one by the Great Land"Talho smiled as she leans against Holland expecting him to place his arm around her.

"Hey maybe we should go there. The cloud there should be in the perfect condition for reef boarding." Holland said stretching his arms over his head. Talho frowns at him for a bit.

"Yes please Talho" Eureka and Renton said as they begged Talho to agree. Talho signed and looked at them "Fine we can go".

"Great then we can maybe catch some waves what do you say Hap?" Holland looks at Hap, looking more excited.

"Sounds good Holland"

"Doggie change our destination to the Great land"

"Roger that Holland"

Talho whispered in Hollands hear ."Holland I am not going to join you guys with the reef boarding, just giving you a heads up"

"Oh come on Talho why not? it will be great if you join"

"Holland" Talho sighs. " I will explain just now...I am going to pack my bags...come with me Holland"

Talho walked off while pulling Holland along behind her.

"How did you get so strong Talho"

Talho laughed still pulling him along "Well Holland, to handle you, I have to be."

"Um Renton will you give me a hand with this?" Eureka asked sweetly, the way which Renton could never resist.

"What must I do for you Eureka ?"Renton asked as they walked to her bedroom

"Will you help me with packing everyone's bags so I will be ready when we get to the Great land?"They reached Eureka's room, Renton held the door open for Eureka to go in.

"Okay I will help...Um where are the kids?"

"Oh yeah, Maeter and the others are going with Gidget to do some shopping." Eureka replied mindlessly and a bit lost in thought. Renton got the bags for her and placed it next to Eureka as she searches through the closet. Renton sat down next to Eureka and tried to help her pack.

Eureka leaned on Renton and looked up to see him, she noticed that he was kind of blushing. Eureka just looked at him and smiled slightly.

"Eureka whats wrong?" Renton noticed Eureka staring and Renton feels himself getting shy from it, he just had to ask.

"Nothing I was just thinking..." Eureka continued packing the clothes until Renton put his arms around her.

"About what Eureka?" Renton smiles at her lovingly.

Eureka looked down and signed "Well ever since you saved me, I knew you put your life at risk just to get me and you always seem to be in trouble or danger with me."

Renton turned Eureka around facing him and smiled. "Eureka I made that choice so that we could be together, I would do it all over again just to be with you like I am right now."

Tears started coming down Eureka's face, Eureka looked so regretfully while facing down at his arms, Renton noticed tears dripping onto his arm.

Renton looks at Eureka extremely confused. " Eureka whats wro..."

"Oh Renton you would have died for me, you did so much for me and I did nothing back in return except for being so distant. I'm sorry, I always put your life in danger, I am just so..." Renton Kisses Eureka, stopping her in mid sentence. He just could not stand seeing Eureka blame herself and it always breaks his heart to see her cry. He just wanted her to be happy.

" Oh Eureka it wasn't your fault, I wanted to save you, you mean the world to me,Eureka look I saved you because I can't live without you, so please stop saying these kind of things. You make me happy and make me feel loved. Which is more than enough for me, I don't want you to try and do more for me."

Eureka looked at him with her glittering teary eyes and smiled thinking how she always feel so happy and comforted when she is with him."Thank you Renton"

Renton smiled and wiped her tears with his thumbs" I love you Eureka" Renton kissed Eureka again.

A sly chuckle was heard behind them, the couple broke their kiss and saw Holland leaning against the doorway grinning widely at them.

"Oh, I'm sorry" He says sarcastically " ..um...well ..hehe ... I will c.. come back l..later" Holland said as he walked away laughing, thinking of the couples embarrassed faces.

Renton, blushing red, felt the urge to just run out in embarrassment to punch Holland, but noticed in the corner of his eyes, Eureka was shyly smiling and blushing as well, Renton forgets about being embarrassed and decided to rather stay and help Eureka continue packing. " He isn't worth it." Renton thinks to himself. " Not while I can still sit here and spend more time with her." Eureka smiles at him.

In the Hallway

Holland lazily turned around a corner then rammed right into someone ,they both fell to the floor, both groaning in irritation."Idiot watch where you're going!"as Talho yells, rubbing her head she looked at who this "Idiot" was notice that she bumped into Holland."Oops... sorry Holland" she leans forward and gives him a kiss and then stood up and helped him up as well.

"Damn Talho why are you so mad?" Holland asks as he rubs his head.

Talho folded her arms,"I didn't want to hurt my... uh ...arm?" Talho staggers and realized how stupid she sounds.

Holland was starting to get inpatient because he knew that Talho was keeping something from him, he folded his arms and looked at her more strictly."Talho, let's go have a talk now in our room."

Talho sighed, knowing that this time she must tell him. They silently walked to their bedroom . Talho walked in first and Holland locked the bedroom door this time.

"Ok now please tell me Talho what the hell is going on"Holland annoyingly said.

."Well I wanted to tell you this morning but you were busy so I couldn't... and I was hoping to get you in a better mood to tell you, but it seems like today just didnt seem right." Talho was thinking of how it is not the right time to tell him, Holland notice that Talho was looking very uncertain, telling him right now in the mood he is acting out on will not get her to say anything. Holland hugged Talho closely and warmly.

"Look I'm sorry Talho I just want to get to the point alright, all day it has been one thing or another and I just can't seem to get time alone with you." Holland tried his best to make Talho feel better.

"Okay Holland I'll tell you." She lean back and took a deep breath. Nervously she tried to speak but kept finding herself mumbling out words.

"Holland ...I ...am ...well ...um I .."Talho gave up and grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach and took another deep breath and finally spoke more clearly. "You see Holland I am pre..."Holland interrupted catching quickly what she was trying to say."You mean you are... You really are?" Holland could hardly believe what Talho wanted to tell him, He sat down looking in the distant trying to figure out how he must react or even how he feels.

"But how could this happen", Talho grinned at Holland's stupid question

"Holland you know exactly how"

Holland blushed " No I mean this... I am sure we've been careful and.. this is just such a big surprise... so that why you went to Mischa?" Holland asked as he hugged her finally finding himself to be truly happy.

"Yeah but when you came in I couldn't tell you because Eureka was there and I kind of wanted to tell you alone so ..." Holland laughed and the kiss Talho.

Matthieu knocked on the door. " Leader... I gotta tell you..."

"Not Now!" Holland yells refusing to have another moment ruined. Talho giggles at his outburst find it completely flattering to finally have first priority.

"Oh sorry I ...didnt...mean to... um sorry leader"

Matthieu walks away really quickly and awkwardly, waiting down the hallway, Matthieu decided to wait a bit before bothering again. Talho laughed and Holland giggled rubbing his head. " Geez, like I said. I cant even have a moment with you." Talho smiled and kissed him again. " So are you ready to take this on?"

"Yeah...I think I can handle it all. You, this kid and the ship, along with the crew." Holland would look in thought. "Shit I have a large responsibility now..."

"Well, you wont have to handle it all by yourself you know." Talho lifts up her ring finger. " I have agreed to taking half of the responsibility and I am here for you."

"Can I come in now leader?" Matthieu nervously mumbles at the door.

"Sure came in Matthieu"Holland chuckingly says while unlocking the door. "Persistent aren't you?"

Matthieu walks in and awkwardly reports. "Sorry to intrude leader but we have just arrived the Great Land "

"Already... okay I'll come to the bridge just now, give me a moment." Holland excitedly says.

Matthieu nods and respectfully leaves. As Holland walk to leave Talho stopped him by gently grabbing his shirt. "Holland."

Holland stops and looks at her. "I'm coming with you." Holland happily smiles at her and took her hand as they head out to the bridge.

"Um Talho when are you planning on telling everyone about the new kid?" Holland says in wander as they walk.

Talho looked at him and was hoping he would have asked her at a later stage "I don't really know, I want to think about it first, but let's think about it later. Anyway did you finish packing your bags yet?"

Talho leans onto Holland's shoulder as they walk.

"yeah, I did, I thought it was a great idea to camp for awhile since everyone have worked so hard and I don't even remember the last time everyone has taken a break from all of this. The Great Land does have a lot of perfect spots to camp and it's not too far from the trapper waves site."

"Well then we better make sure that everyone is packed and ready."

Holland and Talho finally reached the bridge but before they walk in, the couple shared a private kiss, savourying their moments alone.

"Well, let's get this started" Talho excitedly says to Holland. Holland would proudly nod as they enter.

In the cafeteria

"WOW Doggie did you make all this food?" Gidget asks as she takes an aggressive bite out of a slippery mini chicken piece.

"Yeah? Why? Don't you like it Gidg?" Moondoggie asks as he sits down next to the young adult with a pink hat and her usual crop top. "I love it! It's so delicious I just don't want to share any of it." Gidget giggles and leans forward, Moondoggie smiles and cradles Gidgets spicey face full of sauce and leans in for a kiss but was startled by the sudden sound of Holland's voice over the speakers. "EVERYONE PLEASE REPORT TO THE BRIDGE, WE HAVE JUST ARRIVED AT THE GREAT LAND SO YOU ALL BETTER BE READY, BRING YOUR TENTS AND BAGS AND LET'S ALL HEAD TO THE HANGER." Gidget excitedly looks at Moondoggie. "Damn those glittery eyes of hers can make her look so cute." Moondoggie thinks to himself smiling like an idiot.

"Come on Doggie! Let's get the food and get going!" Gidget giggles and very excitedly grabs the basket of bread and freshly made dinner. After finally making a plan to carry all the food that Moondoggie has made for the camp, they head for the bridge.

and all the places I named is made up and this is after the second summer of love but I mixed it up a bit my way if you don't like it please tell me. any kind of comments is helpful even though its mean thanks =-) And please review
