Thought You Were Mine

I see you

You see me

You're standing there

Directly in front of me

I look into your eyes

And I see happiness

You look into mine

And you see sadness

I don't wanna waste another tear on you

Cuz baby now to me you're not true

I don't wanna remember

The times we were together

Cuz oh whatever

That was just another chapter

So can't you see?

That we weren't meant to be

My heart is in two

All because of you

So I'll have to move on

With my life as it is

I don't want you here

I don't want you near

Get out of my face

This is my space

You did what you did

And now you can't be forgived

I thought you were mine

But I guess that was just a line

Since I was nine

It was hidden in my memory

So it could come out

And hurt me
