Bruce Wayne wasn't used to having anyone other than Alfred in the Batcave. Yet here Diana Prince was, the Wonder Woman herself, scrolling through his archives on the Joker and Harley Quinn.

"Interesting," Diana commented.

"What'd you find?" Bruce asked. The truth was, he was so engrossed in the fact that he'd let someone into this private portion of his life that he wasn't paying attention to which files Diana was researching.

"You have very little files on the Joker's childhood," Diana said, "But Harley…Harleen…has an interesting past,"

"Yeah. The doctor-turned-psychopath,"

Diana enlarged the photo. "The woman has done atrocious things," she agreed, "But I do not believe all is lost for her,"

Bruce gave Diana a sideways glance. "You can't be serious," he said. "She's done horrible things to many people, both here in Gotham and beyond,"

Diana tapped the image. "If you look closely, there's a spark of sanity in her eyes,"

Bruce squinted. "I don't see it,"

"When you've been around as long as I have, you begin to notice little things like this," Diana minimized the image. "If you look at some of the more recent images taken of Harley, there's a slight indifference towards her reactions to the Joker when they are out in public. I do believe, with the right amount of time and persuasion, that Harleen Quinzel can still be saved,"

[The End]
