By: Krissie

Written on 5/9/2013: I wrote this oneshot really quickly in class. This is probably the first completed fanfic that I've done for Sailor Moon. I hope you all enjoy it. I've been working on a lot of things that I'll tell you guys about later. Until then, enjoy!

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. The pink haired girl was skipping down the street. She was very happy. Tomorrow was Mother's Day, and she had baked Ikuko-Mama some cookies in class today. The red eyed girl walked pasted the cementary.

Normally, Chibiusa would just walk by it without a second thought or care in the world. Today though, something caught her eyes. Sitting in front of a grave under the shade of a tall tree was Chibiusa's best friend.

' She took a couple steps back and watched for a moment. Curiosity was always driving the young rabbit as she quickly walked over to the raven haired girl.

"Hotaru!" She called to her with a warm smile.

Hotaru Tomoe looked up and smiled at her best friend. She wiped a tear from her purple eyes. "Oh. Hello Chibiusa. What brings you here?" She asked.

"I was walking home from school, when I saw you." Chibiusa replied. "What are you doing here? Are you feeling okay? You look like you've been crying." The small lady plopped down on the grass beside her.

"Oh… I'm sorry." Hotaru apologized. "I'm fine. I'm just visiting my mother." She pointed to the grey tombstone in front of them. On the tombstone were two angels and "Persephone Tomoe: A beloved wife and mother" was craved into the stone.

Chibiuse gasped. She felt terrible bringing up something that would upset Hotaru. "I'm sorry Hotaru! I had totally forgotten!" She apologized.

"It's okay Chibiusa." Hotaru stated as she drew her knees to her chest. "I come here every year. I feel happy here."

"Well then," Chibiusa smiled, "It's very nice to meet you Miss Tomoe. I'm Chibiusa!" Hotaru smiled and giggled at Chibiusa's playful attitude. The pink haired girl pulled her back pack off her shoulder and pulled out a small bag of cookies. She opened it and pulled out a cookie that was shaped like a bunny and placed it on Miss Tomoe's grave. "Here you go Miss Tomoe! Happy early Mother's Day!" She pulled out another cookie and handed it to Hotaru. "Here you go Hotaru!"

Hotaru stared at her in awe for a moment and then smiled as she took the sugary treat. "Thank you Chibiusa."

"Hey Hotaru," Chbiusua said after a while.

"Yes Chibiusa?" Hotaru turned to look her pink haired friend in the eyes.

"Tomorrow, the others and I are going on a picnic at the park. Can you come with us?" She looked up with hopeful eyes. "If you want to. Bring your family too!"

"Hmmm…. I don't know…" Hotaru pretended to think. "I think it'd be wonderful!"

"Really! That's awesome!" Chibiusa jumped for joy as she hugged her best friend.
