I raised my keyblade sensing danger, I looked all around me, but there was nothing. I shrugged it off thinking it was just my newfound abilities when I heard scurrying around behind me. I turned around right as the shadow popped up. I lifted my keyblade and it cowered like a scared puppy. It looked up at me with these pitiful innocent eyes. I couldn't take it so I dropped my keyblade and dropped to my knees. I picked up the poor baby and put it on my lap; I had never seen a shadow act like this so I figured this must be a baby. It whined a little bit so I figured it must be lost, when I got an idea I ran all the way home with it. I snuck back to my room giggling. I laid the shadow pup on my bed.
"Now what will I name you…?" I just stared and stared until I came up with… Pumpkin! Around midnight when I finished bathing (Long story) and feeding pumpkin, so I just lay down with her right beside me. I got up when I heard Riku open my door.
"What the-"
"Chill Kairi I'm just doing my morning check like I always do"
"Pshh check for what, there is nothing in my room okay? 'Kay ill be seeing ya now!"
I jumped up blocking his view of my bed. I started pushing him out the door. He stumbled out of my room.
"Umm everything ok Kairi?" He regarded me carefully as if I might go insane at any given moment. I laughed a little for effect. I nodded and fake yawned.
"Just super-duper tired that's all!" I wiped my eyes trying to make it believable.
"I normally don't wake you up though. Let me just finish"
"NO! I-I mean I'm ok I swear" I gave him my super huge puppy dog eyes. He sighed and rubbed his head as if I had stressed him out.
"Ok whatever you say Kairi..." He walked away shaking his head and muttering. I jumped slightly and walked back into my room. I carefully watched as Pumpkin crawled around on my floor.
"What am I going to do with you?"
