War... War never changes. In the distant future, the storms of World War III arrived. A combination of nuclear, biological, and conventional warfare, this six year conflict has introduced new technologies, such as power armor, laser weaponry, uranium artillery shells, and even combat robots, used by the United States, China, Russia, and other nations fighting over land, resources, and power. One day, the warring nations pushed the big red button and within a few hours, most of humanity was wiped out and civilization was changed forever. Now it is generations later, and the world is still a shithole with mutants, radiation, and bandits running wild throughout the post-war US. I am apart of a group of descendants of pre-war US Soldiers stationed at a bunker called N-9, located somewhere in the Eastern American Wasteland. We've had very little contact with the outside world thanks to our near unlimited amount of supplies. However, that might soon change as a computer chip in our water creator mysteriously stopped working. Without that chip, our supplies will run out in 150 days. To save the bunker, the head of the bunker, Colonel Kingston has assigned me to go to the nearest military bunker and find a new chip. The fate of Bunker N-9 rests in my hands. This is Alexander C. Watson, Corporal, United States Army.
