Malchior has a hobby that would disturb most people. He follows this "hobby" every day since he managed to slip past that hero with the trumpet and escaped to freedom.

Most would call it an obsession.

Except Malchior does not think so; it is merely a hobby that's become a bit of a vice.

After he escaped from that bizarre topsy-turvy dimension, he decided to check up on his old "friend" Raven. His drive to see her went past just his anger with her for putting him in that damn book again and evolved into a sort of fascination with her. Rorek had really just gotten lucky with that last spell–a fact that irked him to no end, to be taken out by a final pop shot–but Raven had used pure skill alone to trap him once more.

So, he decided that as a proper villain, he'd just have to watch her, to gain all the information he could to use against her.

Now he just can't stop watching.

At first, he'd just watch her every now and then, once or twice a week, mostly when she was crime fighting–he took his sweet time about because now, once again, all he had was time–to study her magic in the works. It gave his a small thrill of satisfaction when he spied her secretly using some of the spells he taught her–now, no matter how much she could ever try to deny, she would always remember some part of him.

Then one day on a fancy he'd just followed them after one of their fights. He'd watched her interact with her team, hesitating still after all that time, with holding herself from them (parts of her that only he's seen).

After that, he was hooked.

He followed everywhere then, studying and watching her every move. He made sure to maintain a certain distance from her. Sometimes though she'd stop in the middle of an empty hall way, pause in the middle of a book, and glance about like she could sense someone's eyes on her.

(It gave him the tiniest of thrills to think that after all this time she might still be looking over her shoulder for him.)

If you were to ask him then, he'd declare his observation a mere hobby (that's if you managed to survive to ask him again since he'd most likely kill you for knowing such a thing). He's watched movies before, since his return, he's seen those horror flicks where there's someone stalking the hero(ine). He wouldn't kill someone for flirting with Raven or taking her out on a date, or maybe even kissing her. (He might sympathize with them however.) He'll just watch, trying to see what his little Raven is thinking.

He would watch as her date sneaks into the bathroom right behind that redheaded beauty. He watched as she sat there waiting for her date to return from what she thinks is a call of nature (and it is, however it's not the call she's thinking of). He watched as her date returned with lipstick on his collar and usher her out to his car.

He sat and watched as her date claimed her in the backseat of the car. (He won't even twitch as she calls out her date's name as she climaxes painfully, her very first time.) He then followed her dutifully home, as constant as her shadow. He hovered beside her window as she had a nervous breakdown silently on her bed.

(That, however, did excite him terribly. He came in the middle of one of her sobs and then he finally realized he's created quite a problem for himself.)

Malchior, however, has no delusions. She will never come to him willing, she will always hate him but now he can't tear his eyes off from her.

So now he watches her outside her window, gazing after her as she slips into one of her uniforms at the start of the day. He will follow her everywhere she goes because that is what a good villain should do.

He doesn't have an obsession, just a hobby that's become a vice.
